BeAu and I wrestled around this morning. I got him in a leg lock (thank you past self - years of running pays off sometimes!) and I was a good bit close to getting him to tap out. But I just HAD to open my mouth.

"Come on, Plasky. Work harder."
"You're not going to let a 110lb woman beat you, are you?"
"Didn't you go to wrestling school?"

To which he replied: "We didn't get this far!"

OMG. I died. He won. Worth it. Rhio and I can't go 10 minutes without bursting out laughing.

That workout was well-needed! I forgot how much I enjoy wrestling. It inspires me to go running later!

I'M DONE WITH SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!

Hasn't really sunk in yet. MAYBE it will after graduation. More likely it will in August when I don't have to start back in classes.

I'm getting a degree. I am graduating college. My school days are behind me. ZOMG, I thought this day would never come!

My original crew was reunited today for the first time in almost 2 years and it feels amazing to have my boys back togther! Beau and Moe have been togther since Beau was 2 years old and Moe was 8 weeks old. Beau is now going on 11 and Moe is 8 years old. I've missed this <3

I just found a home for a Bouvier that was going to be put to sleep yesterday. The lady that owned him had an appointment to have him euthanized for herding her kids constantly and we have a client through my work that has a Bouvier already. I called them up and they were interested. A friend of mine took him for a day or two to prevent him from being euthanized and his new family picks him up tomorrow. This finding a dog a good home thing feels real good.

Awh, that is so great! I love success stories like this through vet clinics. I know so many people plan on euthanized their pets for no good reason. :(

Great success story!

We did that with a Pittie that came in to work. Owners brought him in for "heat stroke", but it was very moderate temps outside and the symptoms didn't quite all add up...we think the dog actually got into some illegal drugs. Anyways, after some intensive care at our clinic, the owners never came back. We had a client whose two year old Pittie had just been euthanized after a fight against a very odd autoimmune disease, so we called them up and asked if they were interested in him. They came and met him, took him home "for the weekend", and they are now living happily ever after. :)

Guys, guys, guys. I made gluten free cookies that taste like nila wafers. These things are delicious. Even to people who can have gluten. SUCCESS na-na-na!!

Did a ton of yardwork today. So sore, but so worth it. We got most of the dog's mess cleaned up and seed planted for grass! I will be so happy to have a yard again!

Also, Frag is coming back to live with us on Tuesday and I'm so excited to get him out to the park, in shape, some obedience back, and hit up some trials. Plus, TRAINING! :D

Got to spend the afternoon with my family today.
Get to start moving in to Mike's tomorrow.
I'm done with classes. In two weeks I'll have my diploma.
Life is good. :)
