Where do you want to live? Work? Own a house? Finish school?

I'm about to turn 18 and it's making me feel weird, as I have long-term goals but no idea what I want to be working towards in the mean time.

I am turning 20 this year, and I haven't started college yet. So, ideally I'd like to be finished with college, have a decent job, and I'd like to be in a solid relationship, and I'd like to have moved out of my parent's house. Big goals. LOL

Well traveled? Does that count?

Other than that, I'm really not sure. I'm VERY much enjoying the spot I'm at now, and would like to continue on like this!

In 5 years I'll be 24 - 25 years old, and will hopefully be in grad school by then. Either still in Oregon or off in New York, depending on which career path I choose. With a dog or two either way :)

Also, I refuse to turn 20 this year. I'm ignoring the fact that I have a birthday this year at all and will instead just celebrate my 21st next year.

Oh yeah, and Beanie's post reminds me - PLEASE DEAR GOD let me be in a long term relationship/engaged by then. PLEASE.

In 5 years I'll be almost 27. And while I have no idea on the specifics, I hope that in five years I:

- Have found a career that pays well (enough to live off of independently without too much financial stress) and that I hopefully enjoy.
- Am well on my way to buying my own house.
- Am in a position to do a bit of travelling and just enjoying life.
- Have accomplished more in the way of dog sports and just getting out there and doing stuff with my dogs. Not that we don't do stuff now, but I want to do more.

None of those are very exciting, but they're still things I hope I'll have and be able to do within the next 5-7 years. I really have no idea what else... I feel like this year I've finally just begun thinking seriously about the future and where I really want to be. I've always given it some thought, but lately I feel differently. For some reason knowing that I turn 23 this year is making me feel old and like I've done barely anything and wasted the last few years by accident. I haven't really, but sometimes it feels like it lol.

LOL nope, but I get that a lot. I want to study psychology, I am hoping to become a psychotherapist or something along those lines.

Well in five years I want to be married to Tyler and at least have one child or a child on its way. I want to do some more traveling and see more of BC. EEKK in five years I will be 30 OMG!!

I am pretty happy with where my life is right now, so I don't have any major goals.

In five years I will be 31.

I'd like to own a house. Should be there soon!
Be more involved in various social things around here.
Have three dogs. Hopefully some agility titles.
Possibly be on my way to training dogs as a side gig.
I'd like to be in a long term relationship but I'm ok without too. I'm just kind of meh on that front lately.
Find a church I adore.
Still be at the job I am now but hopefully promoted lol

I'll be 23 this year. That seems so old! I'm finishing up my degree tomorrow :)D) and will graduate in two weeks.

If Mike enlists, I really don't know where I will be in 5 years. At that time he will hopefully be finishing up with his term and we'll start planning life outside of the military, as I told him I do not want children while he is active duty.

So, in 5 years, I hope to be married, be planning my first child, and looking forward to coming back to live in the area again. And if I decide to become a registered tech, I hope to have that done by then as well.

In 5 years I'll be 43 o_O

I hope that we will have a new trailer on our lot (I live in fort mcmurray and refuse to have $750,000 mortgage on a single family dwelling so we live in a trailer).

I hope to have some agility titles on Diesel and have a new dog in the works. (This of course means that I've lost one of my dogs in some way :( )

I hope our business is still doing well enough to sustain us.

I hope my son has some of his future plans figured out as well as he will be 19 :'(

In 5 years I'll be 26. I'd like to be done with school, and working in a job that I enjoy and that pays well enough to live comfortably and do the things I like doing. Ideally, said job would be a "career" as well, not just a short-term job.

I'd like to have a dog of my own, be financially independent, and be living independently.

In my ideal world, I'd be in a serious relationship and maybe starting to think about marriage.

I'm definitely still in the "big changes" phase of my life - it'll be interesting to see where the road takes me!

I'll be 37 in 5 years :yikes:...

In no particular order...

-I'd like to own acreage, hopefully at least 5 acres
-have a decent flock of laying hens going, selling surplus eggs
-be active in blogging and freelance writing
-have a horse
-be in a healthy place physically, mentally, and spiritually
-have finished a mini marathon

This is me. Same age, I'll be 23 in September and it's kind of freaking me out. :yikes: This is the age my parents were when they were getting married, having me, and buying a house (eh, that didn't turn out well :rofl1:) so I guess I'm not too bad off.

But basically, I hope to finish schooling. I hope I'm a physical therapy assistant. I hope I'm living on my own. A steady relationship would be nice but it's not my main goal. Oh, and God help me if I don't have a 2nd dog by then. :p

5 years from today, I'll be celebrating my 24th birthday. Ideally I'll be done with my undergraduate degree and going on to the next step in my career (most likely grad school). I want to be financially independent, living independently (probably an apartment but I'm already daydreaming about having my own house) and have my dogs living with me.

Ideally I'd like to have done some traveling by then, and be in a happy, stable relationship. I hope to still be close to the friends I have now. And, of course, I want to be happy and content with my life, which is probably the most important thing.

To have Caleb seizure free.
To have Cyle and Nick being responsible adults.
To have the other kids growing up happy enough.
Everything else is just not important as having my family continue to grow stronger.
