The Venting Thread

It was beautiful and springy out when I left for work this morning. I didn't wear a jacket. Now it's snowing. Hopefully by the time I head home it's not too cold and wet.

I should know after all of these years not to leave home without a jacket in April no matter how nice it seemed in the morning.

My mom had surgery on her back today (it went smoothly, no problem there.) But:

1) We got here at 6:15 this morning. It was projected that I'd be out of here around 12, maybe 1, and it's now 3:30 and I haven't even seen her yet. The boys have never been home alone this long, and I'm getting worried about them. Plus I'm getting really really fidgety.

2) my real vent: the waiting room has Fox News on and I just. Can't. Take it. Anymore. OMG. I slept for two hours but I've been awake and conscious of it for FIVE hours now. Five hours of Fox News? UGH!!! I can barely do five minutes of it!

My mom better know how much I love her

I have agility tonight and would rather not do it in snow.

College food. Bleh. And I wonder why I've gained 10 pounds since last summer.

All our friends were at a local agility trial this weekend and it made me realize I am down to just Kiba for agility dogs. Focus has been on Kiba last year when we were trialing because I want to finish her C-ATCH... and between that and not working I wasn't able to start a 3rd dog.

Now I'm sad.

I don't think my laptop is going to boot back up. No more chat for Terri or Hudson pictures for Jess.

Have i mentioned i can't type on a tablet?

My ****ing teeth are breaking. It hurts! The tooth pain radiates to my ears and eyes until I just want to rip my own head off.
I can't afford the dental care I need either, so I'm just popping Ibuprofen all day long.

I have one five page paper separating me from summer break and being miserable for a couple more days. Why can I not just finish it!!!!!!

Ugh, I know the feeling. I have one final, two papers, and a tiny homework assignment left. One paper is due tomorrow at 3pm. It was originally due a week from yesterday, then it was due yesterday, then sinc everyone went "WAIT. NO. WTF" when he told us Sunday it was due Monday, he extended it to tomorrow. So what did I do? Go home and finish it that day anyway? NOPE. I waited. And here I am, in the exact same position I was in Sunday night, with a paper due tomorrow afternoon and me not wanting to do it.

I doubt they'll do anything. I went for 12 years with NO period on depo. Since I'm supposed to be "normalizing" my system, I am off BC for the first time since I hit hormonal age and it SUCKS BIG TIME. I also now work an extremely active, busy, out in the public, mostly around men, job. With dogs. So what do dogs do? They ram their noses in my crotch. *sigh*

That's not nice I am miserable!

Oh yeah, we are doing three different dogs' x-rays in May. Kastle is getting at LEAST two different "kinds" done, perhaps three. It is going to be PRICEY.

It's 11 days til I am supposed to start my "lady days" & I am feeling "full" & bloated & like I look like jabba the hut I cant wait til I star my bleeding so it will go away, what sucks is usually when I have PMS symptoms early like this ... It means I am in for a bad month . Maybe it's because I am getting older & my cycle might be changing.

Unrelated ... It's been so windy here lately! That & the animals were acting weird all day today like ... Nervous weird, this evening, the dogs were scratching at the door to come in ... Something they never do.

Weird night. And it's storming. Boo.

Picked up Harley's pawprint today, been nearly in tears all day. Now a friend is being a jerk. Pushing over edge. Ugh.

Also, it's 6:19 am and I'M NOT TIRED. I've been up all night finally writing my stupid bird paper (and it's done! YAY!), and I still have my mammal final to do. I don't know if I should do it now, and get up really late(like 1pm), or go to sleep now (if I can even freaking sleep) and get up slightly earlier (like noon) to do it before class. I've already decided I'm skipping my animal behavior class, sinc I'd have to get up in 2 hours and I don't have to take the final anyway, so lecture is rather pointless right now.

My roommate and I joke about that all the time. "You wanna go down to PAWS and just get spayed? I think it's only $75, but more if you need your shots first..." lol

People **** me off. First car in line at a light, lane goes straight through the light then becomes right turn only. There's another light about 100 feet ahead, which is red as my light turns green. Person behind me is tailgating me hardcore as we accelerate and approach the RED light. I stop, because despite what everyone thinks, you do need to stop when making a right turn, plus opposing traffic had a green turn arrow. Light turns green just as I stop and the person behind me honks their horn. Okay, if you'd like to be an asshole, I'll play along. I have big brakes and sticky tires; I absolutely can make you rear end me. It took one instance of them almost hitting me to get them to hang way back and brake hard really early to make sure they weren't near me when I stopped. Don't drive like a jerk and I won't be a jerk back.

I'm slightly convinced Arnold has a brain tumor or has gone through a personality alteration. He's been very different in many ways lately, some are not that bad but definitely not like him.

Pretty sure that Finn has more than an ear infection. Looking like the infection is throughout the sinuses and everything, possibly even vestibular disease.

We did not need this. Eff dude.
