Break ups, no matter what, are stressful. I would try my best to ignore him and go as far as changing my number. I don't know the story so I feel for both parties, you both need space though and if he's having trouble forcing it maybe you need to? Use the divorce lawyer to mitigate all communication and go from there?

As for the car that sucks, really, I'm sorry.

Someone please rip this tooth out or something. I don't even know if it's my tooth or jaw, but none of my OTC are touching it. :(

Went hiking this afternoon to try and locate a friend's missing pup. No luck. :( Tonight marks three full days and tomorrow is supposed to be torrential rain and much cooler. :(

Today was Clive's picture day. I sent him in my favorite shirt of his (because he looks cute) and a check for the ridiculous amount for photo packages (why are the photo sizes grouped so oddly?! Why do I need one million wallets) He apparently had a poo-splosion..which is odd, because this usually doesn't happen. So, they put him in stranger clothes, the shirt of which was too large. I don't expect miracles from school photos ..I can certainly take more than adequate photos at home..but it's his first ones. Plus, he did have a spare shirt in his bag. Not a polo, which is, I guess why they chose a stranger polo to put him in. But, I'd sort of rather have a picture of him in his own Kung Fu panda shirt, even if it isn't spiffy looking, than clothes that aren't his... Ah well, they tried. Such is life with a just-starting-to-potty-train child, I suppose.

Lyzelle, have you tried locating the starter and hitting it?

I know it sounds weird, but my Jeep did the EXACT same thing. Lights on, but nothing was working, not even getting a click from the ignition.

I automatically check the starter and battery before I check anything else, and the battery was less than a year old, so I started (haha) with the starter.

Found it on the Jeep, found a hammer, hit the b*stard and it started working again. I haven't had an issue out of it since, though I know sometimes with starters going bad you'll have to tap on them every time before starting the vehicle. It's worth a try anyway, won't take you ten minutes if you know what a starter looks like and where it is on your car. Pop the hood, tap (bang maybe) on the starter with a small hammer or a crescent wrench or anything really solid enough to make a good impact and then run jump in and try to start it.

Other than that, if you think that they've messed with the car, check your spark plugs, distributor cap, and fuses if you can. Pulling a fuse or a relay can cause the car to not start, so if they've gone and done something funny to it, those are the first places to look for something amiss. I can't remember what you drive, but at least a few of those would be accessible from the topside of the engine, and without a relay, or distributor the car won't start, but the lights will come on.

I know a guy drove a really old Cutlass and at the time at his work, cars like that were getting stolen left and right. So he'd take the distributor cap off and disconnect the wires and then no matter what the thieves tried the car wasn't going anywhere. Takes a smarter thief to check that stuff and they didn't exactly have time to play mechanic in the parking lot.

I just want to steal Bowser and take him home with me. He peed on the floor earlier, and my roommate said “oh I should have taken him out, he hasn’t been out since this morning†and STILL punished him, even after acknowledging that it was entirely her fault.

Then just now, he was bothering my other roommate (she was watching tv and he kept jumping on her wanting to play) so she keeps saying “no†and he keeps doing it. Then she screams “I’M NOT ****ING PLAYING DON’T YOU ****ING UNDERSTAND WHAT NO MEANS,†and she starts hitting him over and over again, HARD, and he starts screaming, and I got so mad I yelled at her to stop and she just told me to mind my own business, and so now I’m just in my bed crying because this poor puppy is going to have to put up with this the rest of his life, if they don’t get tired of him and dump him at a shelter first.

Wednesday is my long day. The one Wednesday - the ONE Wednesday - that I couldn't come home for lunch to let the dogs out, poor Squashie had diarrhea. :(

Thank goodness HE wasn't that messy and he's really good about baths, but his kennel and blanket... GAG.

I have to call my real estate attorney.

I don't want to do it but my dad discovered they did NOT clean the debris from the crawl space, which they were supposed to do, and now he has discovered some major water damage that was partially repaired so we know they knew about it and didn't tell us. And my inspector failed to notice the damage - and also failed to notice they didn't clean out the debris like they said they were supposed to.

So I don't know if I need to go after the sellers or my inspector or both and be like WTF.

I want to cry.

I wasn't joking when I said I would be happy to move into my house by my birthday. Now I'm wondering if I'll even be able to do that. My birthday is in June...

Puppy would run away whilst roommate was at work.

This^^ Definitely look at the starter, it probably has a flat spot. Mine went out just a few months ago, actually! Everything worked except it wouldn't start! I told hubby it was starter, he said no. Ended up being the starter. You may have to hit it with a hammer a few times.. once it took me a good seven or so tries to finally get it to catch.

ETA! My vent. Cannot for the life of me make a freaking siggy I like! UGH. Somebody want to help me?

I had an hour to kill between work and school today, and since both are at the zoo, naturally I stayed at the zoo. I had intended to do an observation of the Great Blue Turaco in the jungle, since I need a minimum of 8 observations for my project. I got there and for the entire hour I COULD NOT FIND THE STUPID TURACO. He's always, always in the same place. Except today. So I watched the wrinkled hornbill for my other project instead. But still, I would have had time for both!

Ohhhh ... Ouch :/

I don't use hand sanitizer lol, we have the foaming soap but its the reall gentle kind. If I do use hand sanitizer, I have to wash it off because it irritates the crap out of my skin ... Can't imagine what it would do to my pits :S.

I shave "everything" (& I mean everything ... Tho I have an electric shaver for the more "sensitive" areas) about once or twice a week ... I hate feeling hairy :p

*whine* Had my yearly physical and pap yesterday...immediately after the pap smear test I felt bad....raw, uncomfortable, just kind of off. Figured it was a side effect that would go away overnight. Woke up this morning and felt even worse. I'm tender, achey, it feels like I have a UTI (urge to go, burning sensation when urinating), and I'm spotting. Left work sick (feel flushed when I'm active and am uncomfortable moving - not to mention I feel like I have to pee every 15 minutes) and am waiting to hear back from the doctor's office. I'm absolutely miserable.

This sucks.

none of the other dogs were this way & everyone came in at the same time & I made sure they all went to the bathroom before they came in. I swear if he does this tonight I am pushing his crate into the living room :wall:

Could you be having a reaction to latex or something else they used during the exam??
I don't know. I wear latex gloves at work and my hands don't react, and I've used condoms without any issues. Not at all itchy or externally uncomfortable. I am extremely prone to UTIs and anytime I have sex without urinating immediately afterwards I develop them a day or two later. I know the instruments they use are sterile, but maybe I already had an infection in the works. They're going to give me antibiotics for a suspect UTI...I'm hoping that will do the trick. It honestly feels like a bad UTI, just with an achy/cramping feeling on top if it, plus me being a bit more tender than usual.
