Foster #3 is coming!

I'm picking up a six year old lab foster tomorrow! This has been in the works for quite a while so I'm really happy to finally be getting her. I'm hoping she'll be a good companion for an active home, maybe even placed with a runner? We'll see I guess. I'm excited! I've missed having a dog around that I can take out hiking for however long I want to go!

Does this mean we need to go hiking again?!

Uhm. I'm pretty sure that the fact that we exist at all means that hiking needs to happen. All the time.

Well, the fact that we exist on other sides of the Twin Cities means that we hardly hike together. So, solution?

Move to Burnsville, all the cool kids are doing it

And yes, once we get settled in and I learn a little about her... we need to go hiking!

Awwww, she's cute! How is she?

A lot more stable than Reba. She's been really great so far. This is Megan btw.

Things I have learned so far.

Crates are foreign, getting into/out of cars is foreign, new things are scary but NOT terrifying! She's really good in the car (especially in the harness). She walks well on a leash but she's all over the place!

And... it appears as though she's never learned to take anything from the hand. She doesn't quite understand how to get treats into her mouth!

She's been really, really, good so far. I'm hoping I won't have her long!
