Rest in peace Nikkor 50mm 1.8f. I loved you more than a person probably should seeing as though you aren't the most fantastic piece of glass made. You were however, versatile. And for that I loved you. Please do not frown upon me when I replace you with a new favorite, think of it as me just remembering you and coping with your loss.

I took a dog for a walk an came back to my laptop in the lobby on the floor. It fell off a table but I bet it had help. I'm disappointed that no one said anything. It's damaged structurally. That combined with the hard drive freeze last night is scaring me. Time to back up and buy something new, except I have no money. Sadness. I can't wait to be out of debt again.
I got my hair cut, then came come and colored it. It was supposed to be "medium auburn brown" and the box shows brown with a slight reddish tint. IT CAME OUT FREAK RED-VIOLET. Like, to the point I don't think it'll be allowed at work. So now I need to go get a new box of color and do it all over again. UGH. At least it's only semi-permanent, so in theory washes out in a month. I just don't have a month to wait, because I work tomorrow.
It's the second day of April, and I'm already burned out on April 
It's annoying and discouraging when people ignore everything you say and go with the "Big Name" that does more harm than good. I used to look forward to April for the education and advocacy opportunities it brought, but nothing ever changes.

This is not the first time I've had a color go wrong, but it's definitely the worst :yikes: And it is always the reds.
I *think* it's fixed. It looks like it'll still be a bit red after it dries, but I was aiming for that. Just not...purple. I should have known it was going wrong when the dye looked like thick grape kool-aid.
Also, I realized today my dress is sleeveless. I HAVE TO SHAVE MY ARMPITS FOR YOU, LOGAN.
