Ok.... The default GSP sleeping position appears to be on the back, front legs tucked up like a little bunny and legs akimbo with lady or boy junk hanging out.

Very undignified.

Bodhi will sometimes sleep like this, but Fred ALWAYS sleeps like this. As do most gsp it seems!

How do these things become traits???

And what does your dog do???

JRTs - known for their bouncing, which is hilarious. Pit bull smiles, IDK if they're totally useless but they're hilarious.

That's too funny! Riff (who I'm 90% sure is half GSP) likes to sleep like that, except he has his front legs stretched out, not folded. The bunny fold is adorable!

If they're not like that, they are straight up in the air :D

I have no idea how this has become a breed thing....

Default floor laying position for a collie is upside down (and while he's there in the corner, dachshunds need their ears reset to factory position regularly)

And default position for the couch is "collieball"

Also, after-bath baths, cat-style, are mandatory.

Boxers must be touching someone at all times.

My shelties didn't do the after bath cat thing but my papillons sure do. The shelties would just zoomie like idiots and run everybody over.

Boxers are very good at pouting.

And also have strange sleeping habits.

And are lap dogs:

The cattle dogs like liking the couch. Weirdos.

ETA: Wow those are huge! I thought I fixed that problem. Dangggittt.

Every 'houla my dad has ever had crawls on the floor. Frog position, dragging along with the front feet and letting the back legs drag. Dad calls it "steamrolled dog" :p

LOLOL. I just gave Lugia a bath the other day (it was still snowing outside w/ 6 inches on the ground) and forgot to block the dog door -- she wasn't completely dry yet and just tore outside, did zoomies with my bf's dog IN THE SNOW for 7 minutes, and when she came back inside, her hair had practically turned to icicles. She looked like a little porcupine dog, her long frozen hair sticking straight up. I was like, "jeezus, dog. YOU'RE CRAZY"

A maybe not so completely useless Dachshund trait...Burrowing

Often referred to as "Classic Corgi"

And, seems the obsession to posses a round bouncing orbital object, is genetic in Beaucerons
