Ok, so I guess it wasn't really that springy, but despite that fact that it was still below zero and quite chilly, the dogs and I hung out and played in the yard for a little over an hour today since it wasn't too bad out. I probably should have raked all the leaves instead that they were trying to eat, but playing with dogs is more fun haha. We never got a chance to clean them up in the fall because the snow came before the leaves fell. We all had a good time, though. It was nice to just hang around in the yard since it's rare I get to do that in the winter, and Journey had fun being a pest to her friends. The Dobermans enjoyed munching leaves and Dance enjoyed staring at me and playing frisbee, while intermittently telling Journey she was being annoying. Journ's going to be 6 months old in a few days! She's 19" tall and 34lbs. Hoping she doesn't get too much bigger, but she still has a bit of a growth knuckle on her front legs. Anyway, onto the pictures!

I'm so biased, but she's so pretty.

(and then she wonders why they get mad haha. I'd be mad too if she bulldozed into me all the time too)

Oh, Ki, you look so elegant until I notice the piece of Toller hair on your nose...

I am so happy that Keira has a playmate. Even if her bursts of play don't last long, she plays more with Journ than anyone else.

And after all that, I came inside to quickly vacuum while everyone was out enjoying some sun, and found a protest at the door. She and the Dobermans were all standing there thinking I was the worst person ever haha. I was hoping they'd go play. But no, instead they just painted nose prints all over the door.

And then there was Dance, happy to be wandering around and sniffing things rather than wait around for me. But then she was all happy and smiley when I came back out. :)

That's all!

Wow, she's gotten so big so fast. I remember that stage in coat too. If she's anything like Cohen it should get sleek again in a few months. Cohen looked like she had a perm for a little while, and I was so so so glad it didn't last. Journ is so pretty. And the rest of your guys are swell too, of course. Dance's expression always makes me smile.

You have all my favorite breeds! Love love love the Dobermans <3

Thanks! I've gotta say, a Toller and Aussie pairing seems pretty good to me. :D They're not too, too similar, but they have enough similarities between each other that makes them easy to enjoy and live with and enough differences to keep things interesting.

She's looking so mature!!
That she is!

I don't know! She's still very puppy-ish and you can tell she is a puppy, but she's really matured a lot recently And that's because Merlin is a boy. Boys always seem to take a little longer to totally lose that puppy look I think! Lucky Fran. And thank you!

Thank you! And I sure hope she sleeks out haha. Her coat is ALL over the place. It's nuts. I hope as an adult she just carries a nice moderate coat anyway, but mostly I just hope it straightens out.

They're all so pretty!
Tjamls!

The look on Journey's face here is hilarious :rofl1: she looks so pretty and mature for 6 months! At that age Desoto was still a gangly short coated awkward looking little thing.
Thanks! Journ went through a really awkward stage last month (well, it was awkward to me anyway), but we shall see if she hits another one and how bad. She seems to be maturing very nicely and evenly over all, compared to other puppies I've raised anyway.

ALL of your dogs are SO gorgeous! I love all the pictures!
Thank you!

They're all so PRETTY. Journey is so gorgeous
Thanks!

Oh Journey, when did you start looking so much like an adult???

Love them, great photos!
Thank you!

Holy cow! She grew up so fast!! She looks so pretty and mature all of a sudden!
They definitely don't stay little puppies for long, that's for sure. And thanks!
