What are some names you guys have picked out or like?

I'm weird and have already planned out the names for my future children.

I'm hoping for four kids :)rofl1:) and I've had the names set in stone for a while. Most of them are shall I say different but awesome and have MAJOR personal reasons behind.

Here's mine.

For boy names I have:

Wyatt Johnathon Jay
John Henry Holiday
Micah Grogan Jay
Grogan Johnathon Jay

For the girl names is where they get creative.

Murron Grogan Taylor
Lillian Viola Pearl
Riot Taylor Pearl
Lillian Carla Pearl
Ryan Lillian Taylor
Hanley Pearl Taylor

Yeah......again they have meanings I promise

But what are some names you have picked out?

We choose normal names, and names that can't be easily changed to put downs. Kids are dicks it's a fact of life so we chose Alexander.
I love that name, it was a name I had in mind at one point, but I have a cousin the name and me and him don't get along so yeah.

And that is true about kids being dicks, while some of the names I picked are kinda out there, they're not too weird.

Edward is a strong name :D

We liked Gavin Edward, actually. Figured we'd shorten it to "Vinnie", as a little bit of a joke (My wife is Italian, but my family is Irish with a clearly Irish surname).

Beyond that, we had thought of some pretty traditional Irish type names (Sean, Patrick, Connor, etc.)

A first son if we have one ever would have the middle name Levi, regardless, because that was Chris' best friend in Iraq who neve made it home... So while I love the name kayden, and banner was an old family name, I like Liam or Connor Levi a lot better - plus Connor means lover of hounds ;)

Someone in my neighbourhood actually named their poor boy Anakin, from Star Wars, now I'm a nerd, but I wouldn't hang that on my poor child. And I have a cousin named Lucious, from Harry potter, poor kid.

I didn't want a popular name, a friend of mine named her son Ryley and there were 4 or 5 in his kindergarten class alone. Now it Bella, Edward and Jacob thanks to the stupid movies.

I also know of someone who named thei poor kid Neveh from 16 and Pregnant.

I like the name Kim but I gave it to my dog and it is perfect for her (no regrets lol) so if I ever have a child she'll probably be stuck with something Meh because I already used the good name ;)

Lucious means light, it's an old name used long before potter.

For that matter Sloan was not named after entourage nor ferris bullers day off.

I would like to name a girl after my mom, the boys are Denis' picks and both are old names, one is a bit more popular and the other is rather obscure so I am not at liberty to share them. :p

I am still undecided about having kids, but if I do, I have some names picked out. I have WAY more boy names than girl names.

Boys:
- Gavin
- Nathan
- Evan (boy or girl)
- Cole
- Gryphon (middle name only)
- Liam (my sister really wants this name though)
- Owen
- Ross

Girls:
- Avery
- Eden

We didn't find out the sex when I was pregnant so we had to come up with both names and thank god we had a boy because we didn't really have a girls name picked out.

We named him Riley we were dead set on that name we just really liked it. Bentley is kinda cute too.

For a girl we really like Mia (my-ah) but had a really hard time finding a middle name. We also liked Makayla.

No the kid was named after the movie because my cousins wife, while being 30 something, still thinks she's 12.

My point was its still a good and strong name no matter the reasoning behind it, I wouldn't pity the kid too much. The same can't be said for Anakin, lol.

My mom was going to name my sister Kentucky Rose until the end of her pregnancy. Hahaha could always be worst.

Jason and I do not agree on names for the most part...we have a few of each gender we do like the same.

Boys:
Grayson
Liam
Trystan

Girls:
Olivia
Gabriella
Arianna

I have a list somewhere but I'm not going to hunt for it. It's sort of weird to think of "types" of names for us because I'm Irish and he's Asian and those name styles do not go together LOL
