What sort of education did you have? Did you attend public school, private (was it religious?) school, or were you homeschooled? Did anyone go to boarding school?

Did you attend preschool/pre-k?

College? Private, public? Tech school?

What sort of schooling do/did your children receive, or do you plan on giving your children?

I did not go to pre school.

I attended the same public school till I graduated. We were rated above excellent or the highest it could be or whatever. I loved school. One of those crazy kids:rofl1: I would do high school again. I was in FFA and could change tractor oil etc. Best education ever!

Did community college for associates in nursing. Could have continued through the partnership there for my bachelors through akron but my work schedule did not allow it.

I am not getting my bachelors through Ohio University. Just decided I am likely going to go ahead and get my masters there as well.

I will not send the kids I do not yet have to any of the sub stranded schools around here. Which is why the house hunt is so awful:eek::eek: I want them to have the experience I did in school. My mom is upset I will not home school but I am the breadwinner currently and school really made me who I am. I can't imagine not having grown up with the people I met there and experiences I had.

I went to pre-school when I was 4 at a really nice place (my little sister goes there now).

Then I began kindergarten and stayed at the same public elementary school until 5th grade.

I also went to public middle school, grades 6-8.

In high school, I moved to another county with my dad, and went to a public HS for grades 9-10 and then finished up 11-12 at the original HS that I was supposed to go to, had I not moved.

Went to community college after graduation, and am still there.

I went to private Catholic school for first and second grade, I was already suspicious of religion at that age and fought my mom hard to get me out. Public school until I transferred to an agricultural tech school in 9th and 10th until we moved and I finished out at public school.

I'm in community college now but am transferring to a four year university in Arizona.

I went to "pre-pre" school, preschool and kindergarten at a private school. Then first grade on I went to a public school. They were all California "distinguished" schools. I left high school at 16 because I hated it and started community collage (I technically dropped out of high school since I don't have a high school diploma). I got a BA from a California state school, my MA is from Western Kentucky University, and I am now doing a dual PhD at Indiana University. I doubt I'll ever have kids, but if I did I would send them to preschool, kindergarten etc. As long as the schools where I was living were good, I would send them to public school.

I didn't attend pre school. Just started with kindergarten when I was 4.

Public schools (same area) through 12th grade.

Attended two public Universities away from home and received two bachelor degrees. I was the first in my entire side of the family to go to college - now my two older/twin brothers are (finally) following suit!

Annnnnnd I won't be having kids to worry about ;)

Church run pre-school iirc, then public elementary through high school. Considered switching to an alternative school junior year of high school but ended up staying where I was and taking college classes and independent study for junior/senior years, only being in school for the required classes a few hours/day. I then got a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Purdue University.

No preschool, started kindergarten at 3.

Went to a community public school until grade 4, when it was shut down.
Went to a horrible public school for grade 4 and 5, where I never actually stayed a full day.
Went to an alternative public school for grade 6.

Went to an alternative public school for junior high.

Went to a public high school for grade 9.
Went to a public high school known for its music program for grades 10-12.

Went to college for 2 1/2 programs... about 3 or 4 years.
Did online classes through the college after that.

My family is highly educated, both my parents had advanced degrees and even my 93 yo Grandma has a college degree. She started a master's but her professor gave her a bad grade on her first paper so she said "Enough of this!" and went back to work. XD

I went to a private preschool and kindergarten because both my parents worked fulltime. After that I went to public school from first grade to seventh.

After 7th I moved to Connecticut to live with one aunt and then went to four years of Catholic high school. I was not consulted on the matter. I wish I had spoken up to my dad's family, I really wanted to go to boarding school and if they had known I could have gone to the school my dad went to. (This was equal parts wanting to get away from my aunt and wanting to go to Hogwarts.)

After high school I went to Worcester Polytechnic Institute which was my dream school and still an incredibly important place to me. But WPI is extremely expensive when you aren't going to class or doing your homework (which was not because I wasn't capable of the work but because I was undiagnosed ADHD) so I was pulled out and now I go to a small liberal arts Catholic college in Wisconsin.

This is my seventh year of college. God willing, I am going to graduate in May. And I'm going to put that math degree to use by moving to Ohio and training dogs.

Homeschooled since day1, all my siblings were the same. My Mum was a teacher before she had us. Going to be enrolled in (online) college while in high school. It's online so I don't have to commute while puppy is a baby.

I went to pre-school, kindergarten, and 1st - 3rd grade in Nevada. When we moved to Montana I went to the 3rd grade - 5th at an elementary school and 6th at another school. I went to middle school for 7th & 8th grade.. and then highschool 9th - 12th grade and graduated. I am in the process of maybe going to college if I want a job that requires going to college. :)
