MY MOM AGREED TO WATCH CLASSIC DOCTOR WHO WITH ME. This never happens. EVER.

That said, we watched "The Visitation" which was kind of boring. I wanted to show her "Castrovalva", because it's REALLY GOOD, but alas, it's not streaming on Netflix and I already sent my DVD back. But, she did watch the whole thing. And she didn't fall asleep.

Mu's foot looked SO much better this morning! And she was all adorable prancy princess butt and drank a bunch of water before I left. I'm so happy she's on the mend.

The interview at the animal shelter went really well today. Like super duper well. Keep your fingers crossed for me they think the same and I'll get a call back soon?

There was a used curriculum sale at one of our co ops today and I'm SO EXCITED. I spent less than $40 and bought a ton of fun books (like magic school bus, which Hannah LOVES complete with lesson plans to extend the learning in the book, some of the smithsonian animal series books which I will also be using to teach animal science for the K's-1's next year at co op, some child geared history books like "If you lived in... colonial times or during the American revolution, etc" as well as some Barbie books thrown in just for fun lol), a hman anatomy floor puzzle by Melissa and Doug, Scrabble Junior, electro magnetix set, a set of magnets, and among my spoils I scored our Math U See curriculum that I was planning on buying for next year. If I had purchased it brand new it would have been $40 for the teachers manual and DVD, $30 for the student workbooks, and $40 for the Math U See manipulative blocks. As of now I bought the teacher manual and DVD for $12 today, I was GIVEN a full set of the blocks last week at my other co op and then I just need to buy the workbook for $30 so instead of $100 I'm getting the full curriculum for $42 :D

After wanting a pair for like, three years, I just ordered a pair of custom spur straps. And got a steal on them. The owner and I have already been talking about a custom tack set to match. :p
And great customer service!

Also have a set of conchos coming which I got for a steal as well. Possible new harness.. And potentially a new set of wedding bands. Thank you birthday!

Yep, we are in Michigan. I've totally been considering it! I would LOVE to go. I missed the Stallion Expo, too. :(

I'm hoping next year I won't be working quite as much and can plan ahead a little better. :)

if you somehow make it this year let me know! we are leaving early sat morning and coming back sun. Half the reason my husband wants to go is because there is still a crab shack down there lol! I still have not seen the fantasia thing so may finally get tickets this year.

Had a successful day today. Now get to unwind in the hotel room and take a bubble bath in the awesome Jacuzzi tub. I'm going to miss this tub. Major big tub want now.

We begin our travel home tomorrow!

Dreamy was on one side of me staring at me adoringly, Rumor was on the other wondering when I was going to give her food. I looked at Rumor and said "Look at him! Just look at him." She immediately starts frantically looking around trying to find the "him" she's supposed to be looking at. I point to the cat and say again, "Look at him. Look at how awesome he is." She runs over and plows her face into him. This really has no point. I'm just glad the animals in my house are entertaining when I'm bored. :p

Got my first pay check from the company I'm training for and our new schedule is coming tonight. Can't wait to teach more classes! MOAR.

Recon came with to a private train that I had last night to help with some reactivity in a dog... He did amazing and was complimented by the head trainer and a few students in the class going on in the next room. He sat in a corner listening to this dog bitch at him all night, and then sat in a crate while she came to greet him through it. No dog aggression, apparently, which is what we were trying to determine in the grand scheme of things while working on her reactivity. She just has extreme leash aggression and barrier reactivity. Off leash she was as cool as a cucumber, or however that saying goes. Recon got a lot of treats throughout and a kong when we got home. He was wiped out.

I'm hopefully getting a new tv today!! Mine has been broken (inputs don't work) for over a year now so I've had no tv in my room. I usually watch tv with my family anyway, but when friends are over we just sit in my room on our phones lol so I'd love to be able to watch movies. The tv repair guys said its gonna be $400 + to fix it, and honestly, I can get a new tv for that lol. So I'm gonna try to get a deal on one. My current tv is a 40" LCD samsung and I'm HOPING can get one slightly smaller in the $300 range. Mine was a gift for my 18th birthday (3 years ago) and was like $800 at the time, but they've come down a lot especially since LED tvs are the new thing now. I like the LCD just fine.

I must be behind the times lol We have one 37" mounted on the wall in our living room and that's it! I can't even imagine having a 40" in my room.
