I need strength to hold out another year or two. I was -this close- to emailing my landlord his morning to ask. This is a bad idea. I need to hold out.

MacNut went home yesterday and I can't even change my sig yet. I'm no help. Email your landlord...it's just planning...right?

Plus if the answer is no then you know for sure you need a new place before puppy-adding.

Be strong, and for the love of god, don't agree to foster anything. Trust me.

And definitely don't take anything in on a "trial basis."
"Just to see."
"She has TWO WEEKS."
Don't do it.

I found a cute papillon for sale. And I pondered the idea of it for far too long. And I know I don't want a papillon this time around.... I know if I got permission from the landlord today that I could have another I'd end up with A new dog next week lol. Patience, right guys?

I probably have another three or four years to go before I can get my Aussie puppy so I'm in the same boat. I'll just hope that when I move to Ontario, I find other Papillon owners because otherwise, I'll really want to get another so that Cali can have a similar sized companion. :p

Well I did email some breeders today. Trying to get some more hands on before deciding. The plan is to actually uh.... Plan this dog instead of just buying a papillon. I did find a super cute petfinder dog. Lol

I should and would like to wait another year or two, in theory, but I'm on a tentative puppy list and talked to someone about a co own recently.

I could do a puppy now but... Backup...

The want is strong lately.

I've turned down some nice offers. Keep telling myself there will be another nice one with better timing. I hate waiting.

I hear yah, I really, really need to stop looking at senior Bully breeds that need a home. It is so hard waiting, especially when it so close, but situations keep it so far away. GAH!!!

But the way I see it, away`s late, but worth that wait.

I'm no help, I've only had Fred 5 months and I want another.......
Totally this. Is it time for ANOTHER herdy puppy? Please say Yes! Then the world says, "Terri, for serious. Grow a brain and think that through." and I'm like "That's totally a yes!!!" but it isn't. It's never a yes. Not until we move back home.

You guys are all crazy. As much as I love Siri, and her puppy adorableness, I can't wait until she is an adult. I am just not a great puppy person, especially when housetraining is kicking my butt :p

I can't wait till he is an adult. I just want another.... It's not necessary puppy want, it's more.... I think he's so ace face I want a whole herd. I wish they came pre trained though.

It's so not put me off..... Even if he did chew the buckle off my favourite handbag yesterday.

And his poos are the size of small countries.

And I'm covered in bruises from his flailing paws.

And he is pacing and whining 24/7 because he's under house arrest.

And he thinks he's lap dog sized when he weighs 30kg (nearly 70lb).

And lots and lots of other things most people would probably hate......

MORE!! No time is the right time in my books. Nike got it right.

Just do it!

Eta, oh, and 9 times out of 10 he wees on his own feet, then hits you with them, in the face usually.

Puppies are ace.

Me either! I mean, the highlight of having a puppy for me is the cute pictures LOL I am not particularly a small puppy person. BUT, when they get about 6 months and brains start to appear (at least in my GSD lines), that is super duper fun! Adulthood is the best though. When they're all molded to your life style. *love*

LOL someone described to me how they decided to have children like this LOL

Basically I just went through the same thing. The deciding factors were that: I have the time, I have the space, I can afford it, it's a line that I already know I love. Why not?! :D
