I'm still learning about Crossbone.

Most of the time he's a wiggling spinning happy dog when meeting others and is all play bows. He loves to shove toys at their face to play tug or wants to play chase.

Other times he snaps and barks, mainly at Labs (except my lab mix Jack - they were BFFs at first sight). And after a minute he returns to his happy self, especially if toys are involved.

Dogs that pin him down or snark at him right away he's great with. It seems to be the happy-go-lucky big dogs or multiple big dogs that make him nervous.

Sheena will great everyone in a friendly manner by the usual sniffing noses and such greating. After that she usually ignores other dogs. It is a rare dog that she will get very interested in playing with. And when that happens we get really excited for her. She much prefers to go swimming and playing fetch.

Daya greets everyone the same as Sheena but then if they initiate play she is more then happy to join right in. If the other dog is snarky she will just walk away and ignore them.

Kassie is at work with me and does well with dogs. Likes to greet them when they arrive (I only allow her with dogs I know are ok with it). But she's not very playful with them, and once she's in her crate she doesn't care for them to be in her space.

Tilly doesn't do all that well. She'll be ok once they are around, but gets nervous when they do sudden moves,

Juno and Happy are great! They get a little peeved if a dog is really pushy and obnoxious (which is hilarious because Juno can be the most IN YOUR FACE dog when she wants). But they just give a growl/bark and/or move away. They're easy to bring to the dog park.

Lucy is a bitch even to her own pack. ;) I can trust her around other dogs, in the sense that she wouldn't bite or anything. She's just the queen of snark.

Bodhi likes Fred but tries to not make it too obvious. She tends to wait for him to instigate play, but will play wrestle, bitey face and chase games with him.

She's fine with other dogs we walk with, or come into the house or she's in their house. She can be the fun police at times, and likes to get involved if you tell another animal off. Not mean, but just keeps an eye on them in case they decide to have too much fun.

Outdoors, she generally ignores other unknown dogs, but can react if they swamp her, or try to take her toys. She doesn't share outdoors. I have noticed she reacts more as she gets older, so I tend to put her on her lead if I see other dogs approaching. She doesn't seek dogs out, and will ignore them if they ignore her, but is less tolerant of them coming up to her now.

Fred is wary of some dogs, but generally warms up to most. He LOVES small dogs. Which is funny, because he flattens them with his love. He interacts well, not seen a snarky bone in him, and hope I never do. We shall see how he matures, but I try to get him around lots of dogs and interacting appropriately.

Zuma is a control freak with other dogs. When she meets a new dog, she either grovels or will literally bully them into a corner. So we take precautions when introducing new dogs. She is reactive on leash but it's something we've worked on for a long while now and she can handle crowds/other leashed dogs quite well now. (as long as those dogs don't rush her).

Zinga is still trying to figure out her teenage awkwardness around other dogs. She has a very adaptable play style from what I'm learning and she can convince the majority of dogs to play with her. I've never seen her snark or bully, and she's certainly not leash reactive.

Grace is fond of most other dogs. She is gentle with small ones, but can play very rough with adult dogs. She only has a handful of select playmates (that sounds rather snobbish lol) that I know enjoy her play style and have matching temperaments.

Abby is reactive to other dogs but will warm over time. She is much better at meeting dogs that are not in your face and who read signals very well like my grandma's whippet. She has always been better at meeting other dogs in her own house/yard than in neutral territory.

Robyn and Trin are both wary, often down right scared of other dogs. They run away. Trin will smack other dogs in the face if they get too close.
They will eventually play with some dogs, if given enough time. Pushy in your face dogs scare them, as do intense overly interested dogs.

Wassim loves all dogs. He has fantastic manners and seems to adapt his own behavior to others. I really lucked out with him.

Moses doesn't really play but he does let Cali chase him around and play bitey face because he's a saint, honestly.

Cali loves just about everyone, excluding rambunctious, undersocialized dogs (the fact that they're bigger than her makes it that much worse for her). She loves chasing my aunt's shih-tzu around the house and they often compete for tennis balls and will try stealing the ball from the other. The shih-tzu, Daisy, loves hiding under the coffee table and ambushing Cali.

Pirate is great with other dogs, very appropriate for the most part (though a bit humpy, being a young intact male). He's no longer that interested in playing with them, though, he used to be really playful, now he's just cordial.

Tess is a bit reactive, though not what I'd call truly aggressive, she's never been in a fight or bitten another dog, and if she's offleash, she'll mostly avoid other dogs. She's not super comfortable with strange dogs. Except Cavaliers, she likes Cavaliers.

Wesley loves all dogs, especially puppies and small dogs. He really loves to play w/dogs. His only weird thing is that he is a little wary of german shepherds, and very submissive towards them due to a misunderstanding at the dog park. As in, when he was six months old another puppy his age that was a GS and him collided by accident. But, y'know, it was on purpose in Wesley's opinion.

Bean does well with other dogs, but he can be pushy (play with me play with me PLAY WITH ME!!!) but he goes to daycare sometimes and he does great there.

steve is an unpredictable pain in the arse. he will tolerate some dogs who are not in his face, but then other dogs he just gets his hate on about even if they've done nothing to deserve it. his saving grace is that he is invested enough in his dog sports that he totally ignores other dogs when he's working. a dog can cross in flyball and get in his face and he doesn't react at all.

mushroom can play well with appropriate playmates, but he's terribly TERRIBLY leash aggressive.

luce loves puppies and does well with dogs who will bow to her awesomeness and are male. she's mellowed a lot with age but she absolutely will not back down if challenged.

Is "bad" an answer? :rofl1:

All my girls strongly prefer not to interact with strange dogs. Blossom and Keeva are both suspicious and at times reactive towards strange dogs, though both are capable of making friends and love to play when they feel comfortable.

Macky isn't a dog, thank you very much, and would prefer those smelly beasts not bother her. She will tolerate polite greetings but doesn't seek them out, and gets snarky with dogs that get in her face or try to mount her. It takes her a long time but she does eventually come around to household dogs with time, and will even play.

This sounds like Bodhi lol. I think that's part of her problem. She doesn't really 'get' other dogs. She never has. It took her a long whole before she would actually interact with Fred. And while she doesn't do bad with other dogs in the house etc, she doesn't interact with them. She sits on the sofa and looks at them like they're weird aliens.

Pip - surprise, surprise - generally Doesn't Care For other dogs. Other than being resource guardy, he's not aggressive or reactive and he greets and interacts politely/appropriately, he would just prefer for the most part to exist in a state of mutually ignored coexistence. He will play for brief periods with Maisy and/or Squash in the backyard, and he will occasionally engage in a game of chase with (to my eye) random dogs at the dog park, but for the most part he just doesn't engage.

Maisy is... oh, Maisy. She really loves other dogs bordering on obsession with them, but she seems to give off some subtle but apparently incredibly socially inept body language that elicits snark in a lot of other dogs (most heard phrase from the other dog owner in reference to their own dog snarking at her = "wow, s/he's never done THAT before!"). She doesn't generally START anything (although it has been known to happen), and if the other dog doesn't react to her all is well and she loves to play. If the other dog does start snark... then it is, as the kids say, ON. She's very reactive to dogs reacting to her ninja snark, I guess is the easiest way to put it. She also gets really overstimulated in groups of more than 1-2 other dogs. So... overall, she's not so good.

Squash - surprise, surprise - loves everyone. He especially loves wee ones. If another dog is rude or obnoxious with him, so far the only thing I've seen him do is run away.

None of my dogs are great 'dog park' candidates. Zoie doesn't like to be pounced on and snarks, Skye runs in circles around other dogs barking, and Romeo gets pissed when other dogs try to take his ball. On leash or one on one, they are all fine. Zoie gets a little vocal sometimes but isn't necessarily DR. Romeo and Skye are both great, they ignore other dogs for the most part. Romeo has had strange dogs run up to him growling and barking and he's been great.

Cricket generally prefers people to dogs, unless those dogs are small or sighthounds (she is a snob). She is fine with other dogs, just not usually very interested in playing, unless she's known them for a while. She was raised with a collie who had very little interest in playing with her, so I wonder if that has anything to do with it. She does tend toward the bossy side, particularly when overwhelmed, and will correct for behavior she considers rude (mostly humping or dogs getting in her face). Oh, and she flirts with her sons horribly, which is gross. Shameless hussy.

Journey has really great dog skills. She is so friendly and will play with pretty much anyone, though like all of my dogs she's not really into the whole grab-and-wrestle thing. She has a pretty hilarious play style, which incorporates a lot of spinning, rolling, and jumping directly over the other dog. Usually fairly submissive, though she will correct an overly rude dog.

Newton is young still but seems to be growing up a lot like Journey.

Ma'ii is okay with most dogs. He can be a bully, but will back off if corrected. He HATES other intact males however. He's also leash reactive, but is slowly getting better.

Charlotte is a little more sketchy. I've used the word aggressive to describe her in the past, but I think that's too strong a word for her. She's fearful due to being attacked at a dogpark a few years back, and certainly has the capability of being aggressive if she feels she or her family are being threatened (myself, my husband, and Ma'ii), but she never goes looking for a fight, and would rather most dogs just stay away from her. She's better with small dogs, and every once in a while will meet a dog that she just instantly clicks with, but over all she just assumes most get bent.
