Gloves - I like the thin ones for texting because I can still feel things and they have grippy palms. Also, liquid bandaid is your friend for all the nicks you get. Not good for full punctures, but it really helps with the grazes.

Yeah, Blossom is a clutzy, sometimes frantic young dog with a lot of drive that wasn't channeled into anything until a few months ago. She tries REALLY hard but her physical skills are lacking. Had she been with me from 8 wks I think we'd have a more solid foundation to work with, but as it is she's 11 months old with an adult mouth and puppy skills.

When I first got her, omg. The frantic alligator jaws and the total lack of impulse control almost made me never want to bring out the flirt pole again. But she really tries her hardest for me and gets better all the time. I have no doubt the targeting will get better, just as the impulse control has.

But in the mean time....ow. :lol-sign:

My dogs are 3, don't sweat it. You'll get there with her and then she'll still nail you randomly to remind you you're alive.
Well thanks god for that. I don't know what I'd do without a bunch of bruises. I just wouldn't feel right. LOL

You know you're a mal owner when...

Aeri at 2 targets well if there's something to bite, but if she gets wound up with nothing to grab, THAT's when I get bruises. It's a loooong learning process. ;)

LOL even pre Blossom... I work in a daycare. The dogs are constantly beating the crap out of me. I would be really confused if I looked down in the shower and my legs weren't all marked up.

I love this type! I use them at training all the time now, ever since it was so cold I was forced into wearing them. It was then I realized how much of a HAND saver they are lol.
