i got a room! its only 300 a month and i can move in anytime, i put a deposit down, got a receipt, and a key. i want to be happy or relieved but i just cant. i mean this isnt the end of my troubles, by a long shot. but i guess its a positive step forward? trying to be happy and not so jaded and bitter but its hard

I get to pick my cat up in about 5 hours. I'm SO excited to see him. Wondering if he will even remember me since its been approx 6 months.

That is AWESOME. Definitely think of this like a positive step forward and you can be relieved and happy, even if your troubles aren't over, its ok :)
Smile. Be happy for a moment because this is a great step forward.

That's awesome! I know it's hard to be happy when it seems you have an insurmountable set of hurdles in front of you... BUT finding a place to live may be the biggest hurdle and you've already jumped it. that's one less hurdle to tackle AND you will have a warm, safe, dry place to sit and figure out how to tackle the rest :)

Hooray for kitty coming back to you! (And PW is awesome for doing so much for the little guy!)

My yay for the day: Booked a beach weekend in May (dog friendly!) and tickets to Hawaii in July. Summer's shaping up nicely.
