I joined this Flyball group last month and through that I've finally gotten a chance to get to know some dog people which is really nice. Today Journey and I met up with one of the girls who also as an Aussie puppy who is about a month older than Journ is (and has a tail - she's a German import), and she also has a very handsome and sweet adult male as well. Journey had a great time and was absolutely exhausted for the rest of the day. Poor Ripley was wondering why she was broken and not wrestling with him this evening haha. As usual, I took a bunch of pictures, so here are some of them. :)

Journey is just growing up gorgeous! Also, I really, really like the markings on the other puppy :D And, of course, the older boy is good looking, as well ;)

I think I have been completely convinced of the need to have a red merle sometime...

An aussie with a tail = best thing ever.

I don't believe that those pictures are actually of Journey. You must have found a larger stunt double to use.

Love the pictures, it's hard to believe how big she's getting!

And I love how the other Aussie girl has a tail, is docking/cropping banned in Germany or was it the breeder's choice?

That male is just absolutely stunning. I love bi Aussies. Journey is cute too.

Also, FYI, I hear "Don't Stop Believing" each time I see your pup's name.

Thank you! It was neat to see them all together. For being the same breed, they're all quite different looking from one another. All equally pretty in their own right, though.

I really like the other puppy's build. She's so atheltic and quick and agile. Journ's like a brick with legs next to her haha. But Ro is almost a month older. Maybe Journey's legs will come soon.

You should!

I can never decide which colour I like best or if I even have a preference. But I do know I want a red merle someday at least. Or one of every colour eventually haha.

I will say that red merle is a lot easier to photograph than the black dogs. My camera hates trying to focus on dark dogs and I get so many pictures totally out of focus as a result.

Holy crap she's got a HUGE! She's gorgeous!
Thanks!

Your pictures make dogs look prettier than actual dogs. Stunning photos and subjects!
Aw, thank you!

Did I spy some big teeths!
You did! There's a few in there now. Poor pup was playing last week and I heard funny noises and looked down to see two teeth on the floor and another fell out a few minutes after that, too. She's teething like crazy.

An aussie with a tail = best thing ever.

You caught me! :p

She's in such a weird stage right now. She's huge compared to when I got her and seems big, but yet she's still actually pretty little haha.

And docking is banned in Germany, so that's why she has a tail. Her owner wasn't sure about it at first, but she carries it very nicely and it suits her. Some Aussies look a little goofy with tails I think (especially really fluffy Aussies), but I really like it on this puppy.

3 absolutely GORGEOUS dogs!
Thank you!

Thanks! Sometimes I get frustrated trying to get good action shots, but yesterday was a pretty good day. My camera is a Nikon D7000 and these were shot with my Nikkor 70-200mm f2.8 lens.

Love! Awesome pictures, and they are so gorgeous together!
Thank you!

Oh look at them having a blast. She is just so beautiful.
Thanks!

Thanks. :)

Finn is beautiful. I really like bi coloured Aussies as well and he's very handsome. And knows it, too!

My brother said when I named her Journey that "you know everyone is going to think you named her after that band, don't you?" and I'm like "who would think that?", and now people tell me constantly that songs pop into their head when they hear her name haha. That definitely was not my intention when I named her.

Your photography stunning! Both the pups are adorable together and the adult male is an absolutely gorgeous dog.
Thank you!
