I was looking for info on Dobermans... I wanted one. I adopted one and it didn't work out.
I ended up staying anyway and ending up with another dog, one from my neighbors. Oh, and in the meantime accused of dumping the doberman we adopted on the side of the road. (Not what actually happened - he was returned to the rescue because I couldn't handle a high-energy dog. But, because I didn't post about it publicly, all kinds of accusations were made by a group of people who permanently left the forum.)
Ironically, now that I know I can handle a Dobe, I don't want one. I mean, I want one - I really want one - but I don't want to deal with short fur the next time around.
I left like twice and now I'm back because I wanted advice on turning a Country Dog into an Apartment Dog. It's gone quite well.
