Come visit again and they'll move up in your list

One of you just take the **** dog, 'cause as much as I want to, I can't keep her!
probably taking a trip to NW Ohio in April. If a Bloo can ride in the car with a Hudson, I can almost get her all the way to you DJEtzel. Just being helpful :)

My list has definitely changed over the years.

In the future, I picture myself with:

1. Poodle (if I can find one from healthy lines)
2. Doodle (Rescue only)
3. Wire haired mix of some sort
4. Cocker spaniel
5. Whippet
6. Something small with an underbite

Definitely subject to change.

Okay, I decided to make one anyway. It'll be fun to see next year when this gets bumped up again.

1. JRT! (hopefully from the same lines as Siri <3)

SiriNew by laurenscoombs, on Flickr

The rest are in no particular order...

2. Airdale

Airedale terrier by AirFox One, on Flickr

3. Danish Swedish Farm Dog

4. German Wirehaired Pointer

5. Borzoi

Ummm....ummmm. I'm trying to be super realistic and not just go PRETTY DOG! WANT! But focus on what I would actually want to own. And I think that's about where I'm running out of ideas...

Do want to say that there are quite a few breeds that Ryan really wants that we may end up with. Ones that I might not completely choose myself (Husky, Flat Coat, Pit Bull, Greyhound, etc...)

Oh, that list was in no particular order! Depending on timing and if current plans were to not work out, it may actually be next on the list!

Also, I HAVE a free day (May 1st) to come visit whilst I'm in NYC. But it's a Wednesday, and some stupid thing about people working during the week.

Therefore, you should just ship Hudson to me. So I can experience an ES and then return him back... yah...

You should definitely get one. Hudson has a sister somewhere in Canada and she seems to love being a snow dog.

Are you sure you want that? He says he's a morning dogs and starts barking/whining 6/6:30am

Oh, heh. This is one of those things where you learn a lot and go...erm. Prolly not. :p

I honestly don't even know if I could come up with 10 at this point. And most of them are not on the above list.

Ones from the above that would still make the list:

Part of the issue with most of these dogs too (pit bulls/sighthounds) is that I really need dogs that can tolerate the cold. Because Minnesota.

Also, I don't see us adding another dog until Frodo passes. Certainly not another puppy until he passes at least. So I have another 7+ years to think about what I want, so I'm not formulating a list now.
Lots of greys & stags in Minnesota & plenty of bull breeds too. They just need plenty of straw & a good house if they're outdoor dogs.

It is always changing and it's not in any order...

Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Toy/Miniature Poodle
Papillon
Schipperke
Havanese
Brittany
Labrador
Hungarian Vizsla
Whippet
Swedish Vallhund

Completely mixed bunch - some I probably wouldn't end up owning, but I think I could realistically own them all? Maybe not all at once.:p

Oh dear... in no particular order:

1. beagle (a hunting one... a hunting buddy of mine is OBSESSED, I think one of his pups would be fun to raise/train/hunt with)

2. Patterdale terrier

3. Dogo

4. Papillon

5. Pit Bull

6. Lurcher

7. Shih Tzu

8. Berger Picard

9. Peke (when I am old I shall have Pekes :) )

10. Mountain Cur
.
Alright, that was my list in 2011... It's 2013, I'm like 35lbs lighter than I was at one point in 2011, and it's a different day...
1. Plotts - ill just stick them on the list because I doubt I'll ever be without 1 or 4...
2. Hunting beagle from my friend Andy.
3. Shih tzu
4. Patterdale terrier
5. Rhodesian ridgeback
6. Weimaraner
7. Lurcher
8. Pekingese

Honestly anything else is grasping at straws. I love bully breeds but I'm sick of them chewing on my snarky Plotts & doing so much damage. My Plott bitches are snarky, but when they fight it's minimal damage. A "small scuffle" between Liz & Keena has Liz in an e-collar & on abx with a swollen leg.
