What is your bad habit?

Ohhhhh, forgot about this part, but it's usually followed by my husband saying "Are you talking to me?"

Me: "No, I'm talking to the dogs"

Him: "Dogs are upstairs"

Me: "Oh... "


There's another one I forgot about. I count heads after everybody's gone to bed. I can't sleep until I know everybody, including the pets, are where they should be. I worry that the last person to let the dogs in/out didn't make sure they all came in or that one of the kids didn't secure the rat's cage door properly. I can either lay in bed for an hour trying to tell myself that my family is responsible enough, and not stupid, but it doesn't help. I have to see for myself. If I fall asleep before everybody else I'll still wake up when the house is quiet, usually at around 2 am.

I also play with my hair. A LOT.
I chew on the ends of pens.
I am constantly moving my toes.
My nails and toes must always be painted. I wear flip flops 98% of the year so toe nails must be painted.

When I get nervous I pop my toes, twirl my hair with my right hand, bite the nails on my left hand, and smoke like a freight train after all nails are stumps on my left hand. <<< Doing all of that at once use to drive my ex, TJ, CRAZY! Lol. And my mom always wants to sucker punch me when I do it.

I swear, a lot.

That's pretty much it.

I said the F Word to my mom today, twice, and i thought she was gonna perform an excorism (sp) on me through the phone. I thought it was hilarious, she did not.

I pace. Last year I blew out my knee and I paced on my crutches. It drove my roommate and neighbors absolutely insane.

I also rock, bounce, and otherwise fidget most of the time. If I absolutely can't move around I will just move my fingers like I'm playing a song on the guitar.

I am a bit of a compulsive liar about a lot of things. My friends and family have learned to wait after I blurt my first response to a question until I go back and fix it. I'm working to break this in particular, but I am always in such a hurry to get words out of my mouth when someone is addressing me.

I fuss at my nails although I don't chew them.
