Chris and Courtney went to their first show last weekend :) They had so much fun!! He was 4th out of 6 in his juniors class and 1st out of 6 in the sanction match!

And to make the day even better, i signed up for her CGC and despite not practicing for a few months she passed it without a hitch! She was a little nervous about the stays, but didnt move! I can't wait to start rally with her this year!

Thanks everyone! Yes the judge said he had a natural hand and that if he keeps practicing he will do well!

and thank you I thinks he is too, but i'm biased lol!

Congrats on such a handsome young man. He looks full of confidence and it shows he is enjoying what he is doing. I am sure he will learn many lessons that will help in in many ways in his lifetime.

I was lucky enough to be taught to be a good handler when I was an early teen. I cannot begin to express what learning to control my butterflies in my stomach in front of judges, in learning to stand tall and be sure of myself so my dog would believe in me, and read my animal and not make a move until I was sure he\she was ready, to work as a team, all helped me through college and in being a parent. I wish more children could have such an opportunity.

I worded that poorly but I hope you know what I mean. Your awesome giving this to him. I wish him many ribbons in his future efforts.

Beezer baby?
When? Soon? Pics!

I don't think I have ever seen pics of a baby beezer. Not unless they were 6+ months old.
This is the part where you tell me Baby Beezer is not coming til next year right?

Yes soon!! The boy we are looking at is 4 1/2 weeks old! We are still watching how he grows and waiting for his health tests at 8 wks old :) And I did post it in the chaz puppies thread :) no pics though.
Here is a pic of the guy from last week, hoping this is the boy we get! Barring he continues to develop nicely and passes his health tests!

So cute! He looks so serious, like he's interviewing for a position. :lol-sign:

I love that sighthound puppies look like regular hamster pups at first then suddenly noses and legs start growing 10x faster than everything else.
Can't wait to watch your pup grow!

Thanks! We are making plans to head out and meet this guy and a bunch of awesome beezer people in Kentucky next month! And Chris and Courtney will be doing some more showing out there too!
