Seriously though my crappy point and shoot digital hates my apartment. The photo quality sucks, but got a couple cute shots. Also excuse the sawdust on my floor... been vacuuming every day, but Idaho Power seriously cut down half the willow tree in the yard, it was pretty epic! So every time we go in/out the sawdust comes with, so charming!

I love this dog so much.

Oh my goodness I caught the elusive Scoutini on film! She's so sweet, I adore her crazy floofy booty. Also that would be the plush squirrel toy's tail in the corner lol. The only reason she stuck around was the toy!

So I have something of an announcement thats bittersweet and has been a difficult decision to come to. Stirling came to me on a co-own agreement, well we did a short term agreement with plans of signing the co-own agreement. Anyway, having no desire to breed dogs I feel that being a part of a co-own with the very high probability of his being bred when he's grown and health tested is not an arrangement I want to enter into for the next 10-13yrs.

It was very difficult to come to that realization, especially with how perfect he is. Like no joke he is pretty great. He's been super easy and fun. Everything happens for a reason and I think he's meant to help Courtney through the loss of Hobie. So tomorrow we're driving him back to her. I believe she's changing his name back to Sherrif, which is cool. Its very bittersweet, but I think its the best decision for everyone. I will not be seeking out another any time soon either.

Anywho, have more cute pics! He loves this squirrel so much its ridiculous... so cute! His left ear still bounces when he runs, but its up the rest of the time.

He was going FAST! lol

You rang?

Aw, Lily & Scout are so pretty! :D I know it's pretty tough for you to return Stirling. :( I'm really, really sorry it didn't work out.

I can't wait to have him back. There are some big plans in store for him. His name is getting changed back to Sheriff. Looks like that left ear is going to need taped again.

So sad to hear the puppy isn't staying :( Co-owns can be really tricky for sure, especially if the two parties have vastly different priorities. Still, very disappointing I'm sure.

Your girls are gorgeous!

I'm confused though, did you know before you got Stirling that he may be bred in the future? If so, why did you decide to take him on if knowing this made you uncomfortable? I'm honestly curious. Maybe you didn't know.

It was very clear from the start that it was a co-own agreement for the purpose of retaining breeding rights pending health testing and titling. This was made explicitly clear.

Love seeing Lily, Scout, and Sheriff/Stirling. Sorry to hear that it ultimately didn't work out. Hopefully sometime in the future you will finally have your puppy (and hopefully it'll be a GSD, not that I'm biased or anything).
