I used to keep a food blog at blogspot in college ([email protected]) where I could take pictures and upload them to the blog immediately. It was a lot I'd fun and eye-opening ;)

I'm not doing well with healthy eating -- my fiancé & I do not cook or prepare food at home, we don't have the skills, time or desire which is foreign to me because my family had meat & potato meals every day. We are starting to prepare meals once in a while at home - I will have to read through this thread further to get ideas. Ramen noodles are our at home go-to when we can't go out for dinner & it's too late to order something in. Or a giant bowl of popcorn. We should probably adjust that.

Today we had vegetarian lettuce wraps from Jimmy Johns so far. Yesterday I had a salad wrap from the Big Salad for lunch and Ramen noodles for dinner.

Happy uncured bacon and eggs on lettuce :D

and tuna salad wrapped in lettuce

A couple of days ago I also had some garlic mushroom and pork belly slices/uncured bacon sauteed and mixed with cream cheese. It tasted a LOT better than it looks!

Dinner tonight is a spinach salad with an egg cup cut up, olive oil, a little garlic powder (hubby is away tonight lol so no worries about garlic breath) and a little bit of bacon bits

A hole in the bottom of the sea.
For breakfast today I had an omelette made of 2 eggs, an oz of ham cubes, and a serving of low-fat cheddar cheese. Also had a slice of whole wheat toast with reduced fat onion/chive cream cheese...

ETA: You're a nice wife sparks--I'm a garlic junky, whether DH is here or not-lol

Oh I am a garlic junky too LOL but usually we eat meals together so my garlic breath is cancelled out by his garlic breath but since it was just a little salad I would have been the only one with garlic breath in the house lol.

"HHHHHHHHHEY baby" doesn't quite hold the same charm when garlic is wafting out of my mouth I suppose lol

Wow equinox, that looks so good! For lunch today we had some home made tomales that mom sent to us. Tonight we will have either lobster & salmon with some kind of side or lobster & steak. Or shrimp & crab legs.

Same thing for breakfast that I had for dinner a couple nights ago - sautéed green peppers, scrambled eggs, and sage chicken sausage, plus mozzarella cheese this time. :) I had a salad at Chipotle for lunch - lettuce, fajita veggies, pinto beans, chicken, mild salsa, and cheese. For dinner we're all going to Honey Pig. :D

I had some white pizza and a salad for lunch, coffee for breakfast, and a hot chocolate for a snack.

For dinner I want something with veggies and eggs, I hope. Not sure yet.

I've been horrible the past few days, but hopefully tomorrow will provide a nice detox day. Tonight is pizza. I've also had nachos and an Odwalla bar. :|

Today I had some crunchy bread chips and carrots with spinach dip and a small piece of a gluten free Almond chocolate cake bar

For dinner is hamburger casserole. brown rice, hamburger and veggies with a lowfat milk and low fat cream of mushroom soup sauce with a little cheese on top.

I did another work out today too so I'll have a snack when I get home from worship team practice :)

My diet has SUCKED the past two days. Not that it is ever good.

Yesterday I had nothing for breakfast. Then 5 chicken nuggets, some baked tator tot things, three or four oreos, and a small bowl of icecream for lunch. Then two slices of butter bread for dinner.

Today I had coffee for breakfast. Pitched it about halfway through the cup because I was getting major stomach cramps. For lunch I had a Big Mac and the equivalent to a small fry. Nothing yet for dinner. I'm not that hungry.

My diet habits are atrocious.

Yogurt for brekkie.

Vegetables for lunch.

Then I got some coffee with a bit of creamer on the road and took a friend to Cherry Berry for dinner and had a bit of froyo.

I don't feel well and can't tell whether it is just lack of food (on top of little food I hauled ass today helping move a couple hundred bags of dog food out of a flooded store, then pushing metal shelves around) or whether my body is saying TOO MUCH DAIRY! Which would make me very sad.

Scrambled eggs with pico de gallo and cheese. KIND bar (I love these things). Blob of taro froyo with strawberries and pineapple. Steak, potatoes, and broccoli for dinner.

Have you been avoiding dairy? I reduced my dairy intake pretty severely to see if I felt any different. I didn't notice anything until I ate/drank a bunch one day. Then I felt like poop.

I did zero dairy from the 1st to the 18th, then I just had yogurt every morning. A couple times I felt less than awesome, but there is so much sick going around that I didn't want to definitively say that it was dairy. Today is the first day I had more than morning yogurt.

When I initially took out dairy I started eating way better at the same time, so feeling better was probably a combo of a lot of things.

I really REALLY don't want to have issues with dairy. I love yogurt!
