Jackson has never much minded the cold. In fact, he prefers it. However, it's never been -15 here, LOL. The coldest it generally gets is 20 degrees F, IME. Of course we've had colder but it's somewhat rare.

But this dog LIVES for snow... the only time I've seen him really cold is when the wind is blistering or there is a blizzard and he's been running through deep snow for long periods of time. Also, if he's sitting still in the cold, he will sometimes shiver (i.e. not being active). Otherwise, most of the time, I put a coat on him just to make myself feel better.

He hates the rain though!

Teagan loves the cold weather, it never has really bothered her. We do put booties and a jacket on her on really cold days, just in case. Rain does not even bother Teagan. And she loves snow, snow equals the best thing ever!

The thing with the joints is what worries me about Schaffer, too. We used to leave him outside a bit if it were any warmer than ten degrees (Celsius, of course!) because he has a fancy insulated dog house. But recently, we've been keeping him in because it definitely effects his old bones. Poor thing really hates it.

I can't imaging having a pittie over here in the winter. Does the heat get to them as much, too?

Most days when it's cold Gavorche gets to the door an goes NOPE. But I push him out anyway ;) Then he wastes time begging to come in (in his freaking coat!) when his time would be better spent peeing. He still hasn't learned that the faster he pees, the faster I open the door and let him back in.

Logan would happily stay outside all day every day regardless of weather.

Frodo LOOOOOVES the cold. The colder the better!

The year we first moved to Minnesota my car said it was like -13*F and Frodo had his face on the snowy driveway and was pushing himself along with his back legs.

Yesterday it was like 7*F and Frodo and I went for a walk. I had a brainfreeze, through my HAT, for most of the walk. Frodo was having the time of his life.

Mickey loves the cold. Snow or no snow, though it hasn't snowed here for a couple yrs.
But the rain? HA! He will go pee if its raining but you have to beg him. Thankfully this dog is the best house trained dog I've ever met.

My dogs don't mind the cold too much. If they have to go, they will run out no matter the weather. They hate the heat more than anything though. They will never turn down a walk though, no matter the weather.

I live in Ontario. Cider's been wearing a coat indoors for months. That said I have a naked dog too, and we still take romps in the park in the snow. Arson wears jammies and a coat. The rest wear a coat or two. They live, and have fun.

Generally mine really like the cold, they are way more active in the winter than in the summer. Newton gets cold fairly easily, but he's a puppy and doesn't have much fluff yet. The girls only seem to get cold if it's less than 5*F or so. Cricket thinks it's fun to splash through frozen streams when it's like 10 degrees out. They wear coats if it's really frigid or if they're going to be outside for long periods of time.

Josefina loves loves the cold, she will play (by herself, with all the other dogs looking at her like she is crazy lol) in the cold, the rain, the rain AND cold. Bear doesn't like to go out unless he has his blankets on when it's cold. Yumi is like super double Coated so the cold doesn't bother her, buddy doesn't mind unless its raining, if its raining then I kinda have to push him out lol.
