The Merlin thread

A Merlin update to go with pictures.. It's hard to believe he hasn't been here forever. I don't even know how to describe it, he is such a perfect fit. I couldn't be more proud of him..
- We haven't had an accident in the house since the day he arrived
- He is 100% on sit and working on down lol it's a process, I don't spend as much time training him as I should.. we mostly just go on adventures lol
- he is into everything, over everything, in everything lol he has to be INVOLVED in whatever I am doing. Like if I am looking in my backpack, he has got to look inside to. Paying at the counter? Gotta see what's up there and what I'm doing.
- He loves to chase leaves on the sidewalk that the wind blows. I know it's a habit I should break but he loves it so and it's so **** endearing. He reminds me in little ways everyday how awesome life is
- His arch nemesis is all pigeons. They are the worst. Followed closely by other little birds, geese and squirrels
- He takes on new challenges and new environments like a pro. Nothing phases him. Noisy train? Street performers? Carts? Sirens? He takes notice and then barely bats an eye. We have been EVERYWHERE together.. and he is such a joy to socialize because he honestly enjoys new things and places.
- He loves meeting people. Everyone has to stop and snuggle.. people stop us on the street and chase down the sidewalk lol there will be three empty train cars and then a FULL one because everyone is stopping to say hi
- He loves other dogs. He plays HARD so I am working on manners with smallers ones (aka: you can't just step on them or try to chase.. they are little!)
- He went to the groomer and did awesome! Got his nails done and didn't mind, didn't even mind the blowdryer or anything
He is brave and kind and sweet and playful and just.. I dunno.. Merliny lol

I was so worried that me and this pup wouldn't mesh, that the breed wasn't just right.. it all seems so silly now.

Thank you.. people tell me that all the time and it's really amazing, he does kind of look at me like I'm his world and it makes me feel so special! lol even when he's being a naughty puppy haha
Boston is exceptionally dog friendly.. basically any place with no food is A OK for dogs. Including public transport and such.. most stores and shopping places even have doggy treats and things like that lol

Such a champ! And very adorable while he does all these awesome things.
You can just see the adoration in his eyes, and I'm starting to think the head tilt is Merlin's signature look now.
Also, is it normal to be allowed to bring your dog into so many places? Around here, the only places I'm allowed to bring Cali are the two convenience stores and the post office.
