I've mused breeding both of my dogs but to call that a commitment to breeding is outlandish.
Pfft, I've said in the past that Gavroche and Juno would make beautiful babies together, but that's hardly a breeding request. They're both altered, anyway :rofl1:

The quotes we got were for OFA & OVC, we asked for them 3 years ago....the quotes that is....have not looked into since, and no $$was not THE reason not to pursue but yes it did play a factor...and if others have been under fire for this before me then maybe this is just what I was asking....a place where if you breed you must be certified then i have to respect that clearly...and since i have posted a few picture threads and have gotten some but few short posts back and most, if really not all the attention has been on my lack of certification then maybe vandog is right and this is not Èmy playgroundÈ but rather Linds & Saraès and I will gladly pack up my toys and go play somewhere else.....thanks to those who have tried to welcome me and ask some lovely questions regarding history and breed stuff and to those that posted on my pics....
Seriously, there's more to Chazhound than this thread and this debate. Check it out.

Savvy would like to put it out there that he is willing to offer his services to Didgie, Zing, Sloan, Keeva or well...any bitch on Chaz. Or not on Chaz too. Or all of the above. He says he is very charming and can run fast too.

Note: You have no idea the holiday cheer that comes with 3 bitches coming in season with a teenage boy dog in the house...

All I can envision from this is a Zinga with muppet hair. And I love it.

Why just the other day, Sara and I were having a very serious chat about breeding her Koolies to my JRTS.................we would have cornered the market on a top designer name..........KOOL JACKS :)

And to set the record straight since is looks like a lot of misinformation and speculation runs amok in the Koolie world............we were joking and have no such plans on ANY level.

A muppet haired Koolie would be awesome! Wonder if they'd have big round, stand up ears. Cause that would be even better!

It so is! The girls are right here! In the house! And no one will let him get to them. People are sooooooo mean!

FWIW I'm pretty sure these are actually PyrShep x Mal mixes.

Yep! For sure...

And I suspect most people would have about the same reaction to being offered a PyrShep x Mal mix as being offered an African Wild Dog :rofl1:

FWIW, we called them African Painted Dogs at the zoo. Apparently "wild dogs" or even "hunting dogs" is too scary

And I dont qualify one litter of coolies from one breeder (in the states with coolies from unknown aus.kennel i might add) as being a breed with `prominent HD problems`
Two litters actually. Four puppies total that we know of (3 from one litter, 1 from another later litter.) Each xrayed severe in at least one hip, at least two had severe one hip, moderate in the other. Another pup from a third litter sustained a hip injury on the breeder's farm?? and mysteriously disappeared. I know that at least one of the four x-rayed pups was completely asymptomatic. I know this has nothing to do with you or Avalon, just pointing out that it is out there in the breed and in more than one litter from the same breeder. Hopefully isolated to that breeder...unfortunately she refuses to acknowledge a problem or accept any kind of responsbility so it's only a matter of time...
