I LOVE my new VFFs so far. I just got them and they are my first pair ever and Omg they are so comfy. Did anyone else think they were actually super comfortable right away? I thought I was going to have to get used to the weirdness of my toes being separated but I don't mind that part at all.

Today is day two of slowly working my way into them. I stretched and messed with my feet a bit first sticking my fingers inbetween my toes to get used to that feeling before putting them on. I'm only wearing them for short periods of time and only walking in them right now and practicing moving my toes in them.

When I was a kid I hardly ever wore shoes. Always ran around barefoot and even climbed trees barefoot. Walking in these shoes seriously bring back some memories.

I'd love to try a pair but I'm just kind of hung up on the appearance part. I'm no spring chicken and wouldn't want to look like the grey-haired old lady trying to relive her youth or anything.

Great- now I want a pair even more. But, alas, money, or lack there of, stands in the way.

Yup, I did. I was shocked. I would not even try them on and Jason'd been trying to get me to for over a year. And then when I did... <3 lol I have two other pairs however and I don't like them anywhere near as much as my Bikilas - in fact, I need to list them for sale...

Also me. I never outgrew it though. I am barefoot all summer long whenever possible. I bought them in summer and it was a really easy adjustment since I was already barefoot a lot.

You are not the only one. I loved mine from the word go. There's a reason I went from 1 to 5 pairs in a year.... ;)

Oh yes, they were amazing from the start!

I wore them to work yesterday since I was the only one there. We have stepping stones outside and I always assumed they were brick or concrete. I stepped on them in my VFFs and DUH, they're rubber! It's amazing how much you miss in regular shoes. I also learned the floor is quite warm and toasty and very pleasant!

Me too - adored them since Day One. There's a reason I have 10 pairs. ;)

I have VFFs to thank for me being able to run a 5k again. I thought I'd never be able to do it again, my shins and knees hurt so much with regular shoes. Now though... I love running again, and that makes me SO happy. :)

They have a VFF specialty store here in Boston, I went in today actually and they were so nice.. and I do like the idea of them.
I just need to get over how they look. I really do. But I just..ugh.

But yea, the store was awesome and they were all so nice to Merlin and didn't give any snide remarks about my nikes lol

I tried both types on (VFF's & Bikilas) & could neve get my feet to fit right in them like my toes & such besides I am a rider/horse hand ... Not a runner, so my money is better spent towards a pair of boots (which I go thru a hell of a lot faster then anything else).

But that being said, I have Always been fascinated with them.
