... Name your inanimate objects?

Like your car?
Computer?
Phone?

I got a portable hard drive tonight and named him Hershel the Hard Drive,

Iphone is firefly
Ipad is the deathstar
Macbook is portkey
lol I mean, I name things that have to have names when plugged in and such..but I also totally name stuffed animals and such.

All of merlin's toys have nicknames, as well as my pillow pet (Pegasus) lol

No, which is weird, because I'm obsessed with names and I give all my animals first and middle (sometimes two middle) names.

My car is Billie Jean
my last car was Clyde

No! I can't even come up with names for things that need them. Like my pets. Don't think my brain could handle naming anything else unnecessarily lol.

Our little tractor is Mildred.

Our cars also have names.

And our carpet shampooer is Sir Clarence. He used to just be Clarence but when we moved into the first house we bought there was a stain on the living room carpet and we said if he got it out we would knight him. He did so we did. He almost earned "the Great" when we moved into our current house but sadly he failed to fully remove the challenge stain, so he remains merely Sir Clarence.

Otherwise, not really.

The Impala is Hopscotch.
My Zune is Cupcake... the iPod I bought specifically for running music is Apollo (LOLOLOL Rocky reference.)
My computer is Herbert and laptop is Oliver.

And my GPS is named DD. Short for DerpDerp, because he's kinda stupid sometimes. I always talk to him by name haha. "Thank you DD." "Sorry DD."

Just cars too. The Ranger was just called the Danger Ranger. The Oldsmobile was Bertha. The Jeep is Grim.

I don't think I've named my own stuff (unless you count You %#$@*& as a name).

I have named all of the city buses "Busley."

Yes, but the names are rather uncreative and clearly show a correlation to the actual name of the object. Like the Camry is Lil' Cam and the Sienna is Big C.

Uhhh yeah the Subaru's name is Soo. Spelled thus because calling her "Sue" just seemed to be asking for trouble.

Cars are TinyCar & BlueCar. (Not-so-nice names for them are WAY Too Freaking Fast Car and Ugly Car. Those are when I am having a bad day.) Ignorant people just call them both "girl cars."

This laptop is Apple, previous laptop was Mango. Next will most likely be Kiwi. Hopefully there will be no need for the next laptop any time soon.

Random things. My phone is Lucille. At first it was just the GPS on my phone that was named Lucille, but lately I've been referring to the entire phone as Lucille.

My Kindle is named Winky. Not sure why.
