Another year has come and gone... Hope it's been a good one for everyone - and hope the coming one will be even better!

Any festivities planned for New Year's eve/the next few days?

I'm just going to be very quiet probably - maybe see a friend, that's it. Of course, things can take an unexpected turn at anytime...but nothing planned as of the moment.

I will work until 6 pm on the 31st , then will go home and chill with the kids. My sister , nephew and the daughter she adopted out and has been reunited with after 18 years.
It will be the first time i have met her face to face. so excited and worried.

Also really worried about caleb , he has been off and I dont want another trip to the PICU for the new years fireworks. We spent last one in there.

so hopefully chilling with family and poping fireworks.

We are planning a camping trip/four wheeler ride with some friends and the doggies.

It was supposed to be nice weather, now it looks like it may turn cold.

Yay houses!

I don't think we'll be doing much of anything. Some pizza, a good movie.

I'll be volunteering at my local theatre group serving sparkling wine and keeping underagers from sneaking any. I've done this for the past few years now. After that I'll probably come home and snuggle into bed with Izzie and watch a movie or the nye celebrations.

Hyia's birthday is only a few days after New Years, so we will not do much. She still has a cough and I have some issues that make this cold weather something I want no part of. I have a really neat 3-d puzzle of dophins she and I can work, we can play dominoes..I think it would be a nice night to turn off the electronics and bring the new year in that way. Have some pizza

Well a few of my best friends are coming here from Edmonton. A whole group of us like 12 of us have rented some hotel rooms in Fernie so we don't have to worry about driving or taking cabs home and we are just probably going to be running back and forth through Fernie have tons of fun.

My friends are coming down on Friday so we will probably will be spending lots of time on the mountain skiing and just relaxing, and lots of wine drinking.

No plans here, really. I'm not going out anywhere in this cold weather. I will probably watch the ball drop on tv and cuddle with my pets. :)

Most likely I'll be asleep :(

New Year's has been a wonderful disappointment for me every single year except for 2009. Disappointment, actually, is an understatement. Watching in horror as family and close friends get into physical confrontations, splitting up with my finance, having someone I thought was a very good friend for years completely walk out of my life because apparently our entire friendship was based on him waiting for me to sleep with him, is a good summary of how past New Year's Eve's have gone.

I work til 6 on New Year's Eve but then I'm off for New Years so when I get off work, I'll head over to a family friend's house where my family always goes for a New Years party, and after the ball drops, we'll go home and my sister and I's best friend will come home with us and we'll stay up as long as we possibly can and then sleep til late in the day and when we wake up we'll hang out til she has to go home. :) that's what we do every year lol!
