Can this year get ANY worse? RIP Monte....

I am so upset, I can't stop crying....

My daughter and her family left for NS ahead of us because I couldn't get time off work until the 29th

Long story short, they were in St John NB, Jenn was loading the baby into the car, and a loud Jake Break scared Monte and he pulled back just the right way to manage to back out of his collar and bolt... He was hit and killed instantly... We are all beside ourselves...

I'm so worried about them, storm blowing in, ferry was cancelled so they have to drive around (8 hour drive) and they are upset and emotional

I told them get a motel if it gets bad, not worth them getting hurt too...

Will breathe better when I hear they are at Mom's

Getting a motel would be the best idea. I couldn't imagine driving 10 miles after that happened, let alone 8 hours. Ugh. This is so heartbreaking. You guys really need to catch a break.
