There was a possibility of a puppy, just a slim possibility... but I had to say no tonight. I'm actually quite sad.

Maybe someday a puppy will actually be in my future, from this breeder, from this line.

I should not be sad, I'll still get to watch all these dogs grow up, and she has many puppies living in MN... I just don't get one!

Instead, I get to live vicariously through Lauren's puppy. She agreed to letting me do obedience with the little girl. Maybe I'll just teach it disObedience... ;)

Hm, I think Frodo will have that area covered :p

And I'm sad that you aren't getting a puppy! Could you imagine the chaos of you, me, and Tim/Sara all having puppies?! Chaos.

But then I could come over and play with ALL OF THEM. Because, let's face it, I am not getting a puppy (or even another dog) anytime soon :lol-sign:.

A tailed springer boy on co-own with the breeder out of a tricolor, tailed South African import mother and a completely unflappable but not boring american show bred dad (I very nearly passed on even looking into the litter because of dad but... she had really great reasons for using him). Seriously, the best springer breeder I've ever found. Love her, love her dogs. I've yet to meet a single puppy owner unhappy with one of her dogs.

It made me want to skip getting my toller in favor of this springer puppy.

I've had to say no a couple of times and it sucks. But i think in the end it will all work itself out and you will end up with the right dog.

I've said no more times than I can count. Having finally said yes I have to say this feels really right and I'm super duper excited! I totally have zero regrets about the ones I said no to before this.

It sucks having to say no to a puppy :(

Watson's breeder has a litter of 5 right now that I am helping socialize. I want one of these babies so bad!

I'm so sorry - I was there this summer. I was contacted by my dream breeder about my dream litter and had to tell her that I couldn't add another puppy in my living situation. It was a little heartbreaking. I am finally moving and hoping my perfect puppy will be in her next litter (and that it won't be too much of a wait!).

I'm beginning to believe that everything happens for a reason, though!
