One of the boats I dispatch.

View of the bridge.

No reason really except I wanted to share the cool view.

this was taken right across the river from New Orleans River front , I dispatch the fleet right there and the flag pole pully on top had to be replaced. In the boat one your can see the Mississppi Queen paddle boat .

Fun Fact , during the 2013 super bowl , there will be a HUGE sign on the river by the French Quarter , the co. I work for is providing the Barge that the sign is going to be sitting on . a lot of people wont care , but I think it is cool.

That's cool...I REALLY want to go to NoLa, it's my #1 domestic destination right now. I'm going to try to go in the spring before the baby is born.

I'm also a big fan of zydeco and blues music, and in August 2009 I went to a jazz festival where most of the musicians were from New Orleans, and they were all like "WE'RE HERE TO CELEBRATE THE SAINTS WINNING THE SUPERBOWL!!". I thought it was really cute, and I love the Saints and Drew Brees and Rosie Ledet and A Confederacy of Dunces and cajun food and so many New Orleans things

My mom used to watch Treme - I'll look up the soundtrack!

Also, I don't think I want to go for Mardi Gras...it looks like a lot of fun, but I'd rather the major tourist season. I was thinking about going in April, if you know of anything fun happening then.
