So, making my own yogurt and looking for ideas to not make myself just go BUY yogurt because of lack of flavors.

Here's what I go so far:
-Fruit!! (nomnom, my favorite: pretty much anything, whether canned or fresh I will either add or dip in yogurt)
-Honey
-Dried fruit (apricots, mango, banana)
-Nuts
-Granola/cereal

So yeah, those. I've heard you can just add vanilla extract, so I want to try that too.

Anyone have any other awesome ideas to keep it new and interesting?

I always added jams to my plain yogurt. Smuckers has sugar free jams that are pretty good. Also, granola, flax, or bran for some added texture.

I add a little yoghurt to my granola, if that helps :p

usually bananas or raspberries. Raspberries mix in so well. pomegranate seeds are good, too.

One of my favorite ways to eat plain yogurt is to add honey and some crushed pistachio. I also add jams sometimes since we always have at least a few different types at home.

If I want to "adultify" it I sometimes add Fireball whiskey. It's sweet and sort of tastes like cinnamon hearts. I find it's a nice contrast to a tangy yogurt.

I'm boring. I usually have berries depending on what's in season or frozen if nothing is available.

With the frozen berries, I microwave them for about 90 seconds and add greed yoghurt and the berries are kind of warm and saucy. So good. Sometimes I indulge and top it with a little bit of muesli (kind of like a berry crumble) or even a small meringue (Eton mess!!).

I will not spoil my yogurt by adding ALCOHOL to it! :lol-sign:

Chobani has a yogurt with chocolate shavings in it, if I could replicate that better, I would be set for life.

We get the plain whole fat greek yoghurt, and add a HUUUGGE dollop of raw honey to it. Mine is usually a third honey. lol

The kids also really like it with some pumpkin puree, spices, and molasses. It tastes like pumpkin custard.
