Neccy had a hard night last night. Restless, going from the bed to her chair to me, to the bed to the chair to me. I was licked about a zillion times, and of course got very little sleep. I let her out, a couple times. I offered her blankets, did ttouch, and she just couldn't seem to settle down. Now it is dawn, I am up, and tired, with a headache, she she is snoring in her chair.:rolleyes::(
I have no idea what that was about. I know Mary on occasion had some restless nights, so maybe it is just the age.
THe other day Neccy got down right puppyish. Taking a toy and tossing it in the air, barreling across the room after it. Barking her brains out, (something Victor was more than put out about because he knows we are not to bark inside when playing) and leaping from the sofa to the chair. She acted like she first did when the vet put her on steroids. I thought it isn't fair that my first thought at this very happy dog is I wonder if something is wrong. The next day she seemed fine, and has ever since, tho we haven't had any more wild play.
I am glad she is sleeping, but but but I sure wish I was too and now it is too late. I feel for anyone that has multiple seniors at the same time, I am glad mine are spaced out or I would be out of my league. I sure hope tonight will not be a repeat of last night. IF it is, she 's getting some benedryl.

I do this with Murphy. Even more so now that the last two times he's done that he has actually hurt himself. :( I hope Neccy is just fine and lets you get some rest tonight! Being sleep deprived is no fun.

Part of me wants to go wake her up. I won't, but still. I love this dog so much it is hard not to worry about everything. I wish I could have had her when she was younger, She is as smart as you can get and we could have done so many things together. Victor gets a little jealous that I baby her, but not too much. I love that Pepper gives her loads of kisses, she has finally found someone that can give back as much as Pepper can give out. Gives me a reprieve from that flapping tongue of hers.
