Sis-in-law sent this link of my 11 yr. old niece singing - it was her first voice competition and it was kind of weird. The children sang in front of a panel of judges, no audience allowed until after the competition was over, and then the children got to sing for their families. She does love to perform. :)

She is charming. Her voice is spot on and so is her timing. IF she was nervous she sure didnt' show it. Well done.

Very good, very theatrical! Is she into musical theatre or does she just like singing in general? Also - for a second I was wondering if you were in England, but then I realized the accent was just because it's a Matilda song!

If you'd met her, you'd think here's a shy, polite, little girl - until you put her in front of an audience. She's a performer. Lol! She's been in the children's chorus of musicals at the Muny (St. Louis Municipal Opera - it's an outdoor theater that seats about 10,000) for the past 4 years and is a member of the Muny Kids (who perform around St. Louis all year). She's also on the jr. competition team in Hip Hop and tap. She'll be singing solo at 3 Christmas performances next month. She's a busy kid!
