ETA: Murphy kept biting my hand. And I'm luring instead of shaping because I don't want Tipper to spend the entire time barking at me, and I don't want Murphy to scratch me. Lol.
How are you not immune to that yet???

They're looking good!! Tipper just looks like a little bunny. I love how enthusiastic she is.

Go Tipper and Murphy!! I'm using luring as well. Still new to shaping and I couldn't think of the breakdown to get into a sit pretty, so we went with what he know. My current problem is trying to find a cute cue to it. lol

Frodo's turn!!

Sorry for his terribly unkempt appearance, he got a bath a couple days ago and I can't find his brush

Omg he's cute.

Hah! I'm pretty immune to most of it, but I've been working for a really long time to get rid of the frustration barking. Partly because I don't like raising her stress levels and partly because it makes me want to kill her. Lol.

I really don't have a good way of taking video besides my phone. And it's kinda hard to hold a phone, bacon, and cue all at the same time. So no video of the Zaner-Waner. Unless I can somehow rig the laptop tomorrow.

But second session turned out much better. Finally got the brilliant idea to cue him for "shake" and rewarded and shaped from there. Finally have him offering it. It isn't 100%, he doesn't really like it, but he does get the idea now. WITH THE HELP OF BACON. (and the dryer going on in the background).

Woooot.

Okay, I'm liking the shaping with Didgie... wish I had thought to break it down that way instead...

LURING with mine. Last time Payton was trying to pivot-sit pretty, now he wants to sit pretty and do cop-cop at the same time. I'll allow it.
LOOK AT PEPPER GO.

uhhhh oh yeah sorry about my singing and dancing. I'm going through stuff to add to my running ipod... also I'm in a good mood. =P

I can't watch your video Beanie!

Didgie is getting it fast like this! I'm just a terrible luring. I did that with Traveler and it took forever for me to get rid of a heavy hand signal. I'm just bad at it.

I tried luring Zander at first, but my luring is sloppy since I've started shaping. So after that first attempt failed, I started with "shake" and shaped it up like you did with Didgie.

I'm just using a hand signal, though. I wanted to use "up" but that isn't good since I use "up up" for jumping ON things. So he was jumping on me. "Sit pretty" is a bit too long for our typical style. I'm sure I'll think of something.

For Traveler I use "Pretty!" that way I can say sit 'Pretty!'

And I know what you mean about sloppy luring, I just can't do it and my dogs get frustrated because they aren't used to it.

Here's Lincoln. Any critiques are welcome! This is just our 2nd session with it.

I think I'm going to use "Purple!"

For the sole reason of I can't use Pretty, it already has a trick, I can't use Up cause it means hop up and she jumps in my arms if I try :)rolleyes:), and Yellow and Pink are what we use when answering the phone. Purple it is.
