Thank you ladies! I know it's early but I definitely felt the baby move today! It felt a little like having a frog, inside a bag of water, in my belly. Super weird but coolest thing ever, hands down.

For those with babies and multiple pets, how do you handle it? That's one thing I worry about....
I'm wondering what you mean by this...Do you mean how do you handle caring for the baby and caring for the pets? Or how do you handle how your pets interact with the baby?

What part are you worried about? My dogs are pretty laid back, so I didn't have to worry about doing hours of exercise each day.

As far as normal, routine care, babies are pretty portable, so I was able to cart him around while I did various pet things. He was also a much better sleeping newborn (during the day, at least) than he is as a toddler. So I had several naptimes where I could do things. There are also two adults in the house, so one could do baby tasks and the other pet tasks, etc.

I have two kids, one set of hands and a dog. Bandit is laid back but really you just adjust. It will be your new normal.

Just found out there are now legal proceedings and police involved and the matter is not to be discussed over the internet so that the country in question doesn't flip out and stop communications.

Fran that is awful. I wish there was someone any of us could do to make it better for her. That poor precious baby and all those like her. Sitting here with Briggs and Blake it blows my mind that not all children are treated the same as they are.

*hugs*

I mean both interaction with pets and care of them. Do you have any special cleaning routines with pet stuff since the baby was born? How do the pets interact with the kids? How did you make sure you still had time for the pets? Did you do anything special to prepare the pets?
