My birthday money ended up having to be used for bills a while back. I just got that money back and was told to do something for me for once. So... Appointment booked for early December to start the color on my chest piece tattoo.

only thing on my birthday list left is the harry potter hardcover UK editions box set... but that's understandable lol

That's an awesome picture, Fran! I wish I did that haha. Happy belated birthday!

My good news: 0% chance of rain this weekend! The highs are in the low 80s, so hiking and the beach will be fantastic!

Brought Payton back to work with me so I can keep an eye on him. He's tied to my chair making eyes at all my co-workers. This will certainly make the afternoon better.

Finally got the car in or an oil change and general look over. Seems as though nothing is wrong with it. Which is FANTASTIC. I was fearing the worst car repairs after we hit that deer in July...but it's just cosmetic. Did have to pay a bit over budget because the air filter needed replaced, but that's all. No car repairs expected. At all. Nothing. First time in my life I've been able to say that!

And hopefully it'll help me sell this car to pay off the loan. There's also the possibility of our BIL and SIL keeping our car while we are over there. Kinks still need worked out.

But yay for having no repairs needed on the car!

After 3 weeks of working on it, I finally got our project updated at work! Woo hoo! It took about 6 hours of luck and trouble shooting and me being the only person in the office today.

Now bad news is I have to figure out how to recreate it in a few weeks without having to kill the project and boot everyone out.

Just noticed that the venting thread is twice as long as the good news thread, so wanted to post, lol.

Samuel got a drool rash that was really persistent, but it's finally going away! Yay! I felt so bad for him and nothing the doctors prescribed was working. So I made up this tea tree oil stuff I use to cure ringworm on the chinchillas and it totally worked.

One of the ladies at church mentioned it looked like thrush to her, which makes sense since the antibiotic stuff the docs prescribed made it worse but the ringworm treatment is curing it.

I have a 12 foot scarf headed my way :D Courtesy of an Amazon gift card from my brother for my birthday. AND I still have $9 left on the card, and I still can't decide what to get lol. Maybe a tea strainer travel mug thing...

I soooo noticed this too, which is also why I popped in! :)

<3 tea tree oil

My daughter makes the cutest sounds and faces. Sadly its only after she pukes on me
Why? I also love it, what are you using it for?

LOL that made me smile

My good news: I am working with two dogs at my work for tracking. One was previously a struggling prospect that could not pass her performance test (Tera) and one I brought to work and has only been there for 6 weeks (Lery). Well, Lery found and successfully ran a 3 hour old track in the pitch dark, complete with article indication, after 400 yards of walking.

Then he (and Tera) found and ran three tracks back to back, with three different handlers (me, Jason, and the senior handler of the company), successful article indications on each. That was their official performance test for Y-12 National Security Complex. They are now professional working dogs, helping to keep the nation's largest nuclear facility safe.

It was a lot of work and stress but I'm so glad they passed!

I am finally going to have enough money saved up at the end of this month to make getting a puppy a possibility. :D I also think I've decided on a Chessie versus a Lab - I'm finding quite a few Chessie breeders producing dogs that I am very happy with both structurally and temperamentally, that health test out the wazoo, have very nice health guarantees and puppy contracts (or lack there of), and the pups are 1/2 the price of the decent quality Labs I've managed to find.

Now to just have a very serious discussing with Mike regarding when this puppy will be happening. I'd like for it to be soon. He would not. So we'll see.

I made an awesome simply curry last night that tasted so good. Ginger, garlic, onion and curry paste, added 1 cup of split peas, 1 litre reduced salt stock, 1 cup water, 1/4 cup desiccated coconut - bring to the boil and turn down, simmer for 40 minutes. Chop up a whole cauliflower into florets. Add and cook for a further 10/15 minutes Add some fresh coriander and cracked pepper at the end, served with brown rice. :)

Hannah is really enjoying her gymnastics classes and she is showing a lot of improvement and confidence when it comes to trying new things :)
