Woke up to a sickly dog...

The first sign that not all was well in Watson's world was that he slept through his usual morning wake up time...then he was moving at less than normal Watson speed when we got up and was dubious about breakfast.

After that there was squishy poop and then nausea, burping, and vomiting...

I called the vet and we are headed in at 10 am this morning.

Vibes for the poor guy...he is very obviously not feeling well.

Back from the vet...

He got a shot to help stop the vomiting...he doesn't get to eat anything for the next 24 hours and after that we try small, frequent meals of bland food. If he keeps that down we give him some metronidazole and slowly get him back to his normal feeding routine over the next five days. He can also have some pepcid if he needs it for his tummy.

He is acting a little more normal...but is still not back to Watson speed.

No idea what caused it? Poor little guy :(
Nope...they do not go outside unsupervised...so to my knowledge nothing unusual was encountered/eaten.

Just a tummy bug...

He has not thrown up since this morning, so that is good. He is keeping down the water I gave him after the vet, which is also good.

Tomorrow we try some food...wish us luck :)
