Lol Fran you do realize that apartment on Central Park you described would be like 6 million minimum and that's hoping you'd find an amazing deal, right?

How sad is it that my first thought was 'ehh a million doesn't go as far as it use to?' XD

Not saying it wouldn't be amazing but I wouldn't be able to retire on it.

I could spend it-no problem. I'd start by buying myself & hubby a HUGE home on several hundered acres. I would by adjacent property , a few hundred acres and open an animal rescue. I would buy my kids huge homes, property & vehicles. There ya go-it's about spent by now!

Also forgot to add, I would pre pay for trips (like Jessie said, but not here exact trips lol, but the Safari trip)

I would pay off any debts I have (which I think is like a $173 medical bill lol)

Probably buy my parents their dream house, and maybe stock in something so they can continue to get money and live comfortably. I'd also find a way to pay off a lifetime of car insurance and gasoline so they wouldn't have to worry about that.

Then I would buy a recording studio and all the equipment that I'd need to record an album with my sister so that we could record our music and hopefully eventually find someone who'd be willing to sign us.

Then I would buy meet and greet/backstage passes for Justin Bieber so that my sister and I and our best friend, Lexi could meet him and tell him how much he's inspired us and changed our lives.

Then I'd give money to charities and causes like St. Jude's, Vanderbilt, etc so people who can't afford treatment can have a chance. And also maybe a cure could be found for cancer and other horrible things.

Then if there was anything left I guess I'd invest it in something like a house so I could sell it later and have the money lol!

I'd peel off enough for my adult children to be able to care for their children by eliminating some of the stress they carry on their shoulders, but I also know that too much of anything is a bad idea, so enough to be comfortable but not enough to forget what it is really all about.

I would peel off enouh for Hyia to be able to go to college, and not have to face the struggles of trying to support herself during the process, and enough to live comforablly but not too in access.

I would do the same for my step daughter so she could care for the children she so obviously loves and help her go to college to be the incredible woman I know she is, and to help the people I know she would help.

I would peel off the a very large portion of it and send it to the rescues that I know do what they do, because they wouldn't waste a dime of it, and it would go to where I know it is needed most.

I would walk away from this horror of a place that I live, and find a place where I dind't have to look at another neighbor or deal with their domestic arguements and child neglect and their animal neglect. I woudlnt' need much, just an out. One thing, before I left, I would get Mary down the street a car so she could care for her son and not be beholding to anyone.

I would buy a bigger kiln, a supply of clay and tell the world to take a flying f with it's big tvs and fancy cell phones, and commercialism I can't stomach any more. I would keep doing exactly what I am already doing, and at the end of the day I would probably be just as exhausted as I am tonight, but I would be a lot less worried about the people I love most and that woudl be enough.
Just wanted to say, I love this. Especially the bolded part.

Buy Buckshot Island, stock it with building supplies and efficient agricultural equipment and a watercraft suitable for coming and going.

An M Coupe, and an early 70s 911 Carrera.

Payment in full for future Filas from Eva Dengler.

Gemstones and gold that can be converted back to cash as needed.

Modest investment property, possibly a condo in the southwest, with a garage, for the cars.

Tell my family "it's been real -- awful," leave and never come back.

Buy about a 100 acres of land (I actually already have a couple of places picked out).

Buy a few horses, and other livestock.

Stock up on all the dog stuff I need (crates, leashes collars, toys)

Prepay my uni fees

Buy my parents and grandparents houses for them and give them money for renovations and a holiday.

Book an awesome round the world trip and prepay that.

Invest whatever's left.
