Breast feeding your DOG?

Wait, what?? How can someone have a problem with a mother FEEDING her child!? Breastfeeding a baby isn't "gross" or something that should "wigg you out," it's a natural way to provide nourishment for your child!! Should everyone bottlefeed to avoid "wigging you out?"

As for the breastfeeding dog, it's weird. The dog does not need the nourishment of breast milk and it probably isn't very healthy for him. The woman clearly needs therapy.

Where did I say it was "ok" for animals but not for humans??? I did not say that, I said ANY breastfeeding wigs me out (except animals nursing animals because they DOT EXPOSÉ THEMSELVES while doing it!)

No just don't do it in front of me... There was a lady breat feeding in the bathroom & I was ok with hat, why not just excuse yourself from the table or something? I mean is it really that difficult? Why is so inconceivable to you that maybe not everyone wants to "see" that?

Yeah. Over humans breastfeeding dogs/other animals. Not babies.

My original post was relevant to this, I asked those who thought this was weird or gross (any animal not just dogs) their reasoning & how that could see this (I know that put was an adult but let's pretend for a minute someone wAs Doing the same thing to a baby animal) as gross but call me a bad person for not wanting to see ANY breast feeding (human to human or whatever) I find it just as disturbing to watch a woman suckle newborn animals as I do watching a woman suckle a baby.

Has it occurred to you to not look?

So not any breast feeding wigs you out ONLY your own species.I find it hilarious that you called us that see this (and ADULT dog and human) weird but find a baby nursing from there mother fine hypocritical when they arent comparable. But you find humans nursing disgusting but animals are fine? Um who is the hypocrite here?

I also find it deplorable you think it is acceptable for an infant to eat in a BATHROOM! Do you know how long fecal particles linger in the air and how far they are spread when you flush?!

I think I would normally fall into the not harming anyone so weird but meh category. But the fact this made the news bothers me.

My train of thought went like this:

Ok so there are people who endulge their pets and treat them like kids. Like those people who put their dog/cat in a high chair and have them eat with them at the table. Or with a larger dog on a regular chair.

This is weird but if someone is doing this in their own home how are we to know unless we are invited over for dinner. Even if we are invited over for dinner it still isn't going to make the news unless you invite a news team over for dinner.

Same with this one. If this woman was doing this quietly in her own home we would never know. Its the fact she wanted to tell the world that she breast feeds her dog and thinks its awesome that bothers me.

I think we should just leave it alone and put it in the same pile of thoughts as.. "But if we let gay people get married..what's going to stop dog lovers from marrying their dogs?!" "But if women are breastfeeding in public.. people are just going to have starting having sex on top of restaurant tables!" "
people who "don't see the difference" say that because they disagree with something simple and want to pin it onto something extreme/unsettling/wrong so they have a "real" argument to stand on lol so yea, I wouldn't waste your breath

Because this:

Breastfeeding your human infant = nutrition.
Breastfeeding weak piglets when your own survival might depend on them surviving = necessity.
Breastfeeding adult pet dog because it makes you feel like a better mother = weird. I have no problem going all Judgy McJudgerson in this case.

OMG! We do love our dogs but this action is definitely GROSS. The lady appears to be very proud of her action. Something is wrong with the lady...not with the dog!!
