Returning a dog to the breeder - Questions/Rant

Pretty much this. Yeah...
I posted earlier that if Teal is indeed mentally unstable, now it the time to really keep even more of an eye out. Barbara and TahlzK, maybe you should be putting effort in to contacting your friend and trying to help her get help instead of so much effort in to denying, excusing and condoning indefensible behavior on her part?

But the breeder of the puppy in question HAS seen his condition, and there's people on this forum who know the breeder personally. The breeder has provided both photos and vet reports on the pup's condition upon getting him back to back them up. Teal has had NOTHING to back her up, and when she came on to defend herself, she blatantly avoided questions. I get she's your friend, and that you're trying to be loyal to her, but it's easy to see why everyone is so upset. Because this IS the internet, and it's so easy to hide your true colors.
I was involved with a greyhound rescue years ago, retired racers... They stole my heart! I was on a wait list and went up to the city a couple times a month to visit (3 hour drive!) and was not far from getting a dog....
But, we made the decision to move here to Ontario and as heartbreaking as it was I couldn't bring a new dog into such a disruptive environment....
