OW I am so sorry , my nieace had acid reflux and it was horrid.
totally up to you , but the only thing that would help her was to thicken the formula with cereal , Danialle was 3 month old when we started , and the doc tried everything before recommending it , i know it is your for a baby to have semi solids , but it was only tbs to 8 oz formula.

just throwing it out there , HUGS
we go back monday to see how shes doing this is the first time we had come to that conclusion bascially because we just bought her a can of thicker formula without knowing it and she didnt spit it up and was overall happier.

so if the zantac doesnt help her that well we probably will go that route. Ive never had a baby with all these issues and I wonder if it was because of her extra pregnancy issues. IM also trying not to be concerned about me my blood pressure was slightly elevated today in prehypertension levels so yeah. Thankfully there was alot of good today.

Thanks!

On this one parenting forum I post on Briggs' hair starts a riot pretty much every time I share a photo. People hate it, think its too long, can't believe I put it in pony tails or clips and act like its the end of the world that he gets mistaken for a girl.

Jeez man. Briggs has awesome hair. I see no difference between my son wearing a pony tail versus your daughter. He doesn't even respond to his own name yet. Do you really think he cares if he gets mistaken for a girl? And really. I don't give a **** what you would all do with your kids hair. The one said something about at least give him bangs. I think both her boys look like they have helmet hair. No thank-you. I'm gonna let his mane roar.

Paige, tell them you're busy growing it out so he can have an epic mullet by the time he's five.

Beanie...this update is for you. I am starting to feel an uncomfortable pinching, like constant needle in the arm type of pain. Also, loverly bruise starting to form. Like...worn sharpie lovely black bruise.

ETA: Picture! This is just the tail end of it. The bump on my bandage is actually where they inserted it...so I suppose this will be QUITE a large bruise.

Is communication so hard to do?

Mike: "Hey, I need to go visit my Grandma, but I hate driving down there alone...can you come? We can go when you get off of work."
Me: "Okay, yah, I can go with you."

Nevermind I haven't been home for more than ten minutes in three days. Nevermind I have an exam to study for. Nevermind I've been working my butt off at work and really need time to relax...I would have gone with him to see his Grandmother.

Bust my butt at work so I can leave a few minutes early to run by my apartment, grab a change of clothes, and take care of the critters before still making it to Mike's on time so we can leave. Speed across town. Pull up...his car is gone.

I don't care that he went down by himself. I care that he didn't tell me after I had rearranged my entire evening in order to go with him. If he had just sent me a simple TEXT saying, "I decided to head down by myself," I would have taken more time at work, grabbed all of my crap from his place when I was over here earlier and wouldn't have needed to come back, cooked me a nice dinner at home, spent time with Dameon, done some dishes, picked up around the apartment...but no. So I drove out here for nothing. And now that I'm here I'm loathe to just up and leave because, well, I already made the effort to come out here.

He always does this crap. He flies by the seat of his pants and doesn't seem to understand that peoples whose lives revolve around a schedule can't do that. GAH. I'm left with little to no information and having to readjust my plans every. freaking. time.

I'm a bit PO'd.

Lyzelle,

Hope the pain subsides soon. You can try a Chinese old-maid's remedy for the bruise though - roll a hot/warm hard boiled egg on it - it works (usually).

Paige,

You and Briggs are stunning together! Fabulous hair on the both of you =)

Just found out I have high blood pressure. Stupid thing is I felt great, was active, did lots, had no signs of HBP. NONE. Went into the ER for a burned hand (the small town ER's are the walk in clinics as well) and got told it was high, but sent home.

Then find out yesterday not only is it high, but it's really, really, really high. Started on meds on the spot, sent for testing, just finished a 24 hour pee test, have more tests to go.

And the meds are making me feel like crap! I know I have to take them, it's past the 'cut the salt and we'll see' stage - the doctor said it's the highest he'd ever seen. But the next few days as my body adjusts to a more normal BP I'll feel like total crap and if I do too much, stand up too fast etc. I'm likely to faint.

Oh but I'm supposed to relax and not worry about what health issues are related to sky high BP that may have been damaging things for years. Um... yeah.

An ant bit me in between my toes while I let the dogs outside. :( That must be one of the worst places to get bitten.

The roof of my mouth hurts INSANELY bad, and I have no idea why.

Like, eating feels like I'm stabbing myself. I have to keep stopping to check and make sure I'm not bleeding.

Why.

Bogart, so sorry. Praying for Caleb. Breeze, praying for Savannah too. I hope the meds work for her.

My vent is so superficial compared to others but OH MY GOSH my fingers hurt. I brought home some stuff from preschool that needed cutting out. An intricate cat for "*cat color*, *cat color*, what do you see?". Well I had to cut out 14 of these cats in the middle of the paper (so the cat is in the center... Not just a regular cut out). My hand is killing me. Now I know why teacher buttered me up with a nice shiny new pair of scissors LOL. Hubby helped me... God bless that man lol

I love when you click something totally innocent looking on google images and then you get a wonderful picture of a woman with her breasts hanging out and the words 'Find your **** buddy!'

My silly rant of the day.
UGH Jeremy said 2 trips to tallahassee this week. Need to figure out the two that are most important. I have a shopping trip with a friend and a walk with a friend which IS happening, a baby wearer meeting saturday AND want to go see if I can get a cheap highchair at the used kids sale tomorrow.

It's 10pm. I have to get up at 5:30. I should go to bed but I am so not tired. And I just really really don't want to work the next 2 days, but after this I am done. So part of me is saying, hey, stay up late and be tired tomorrow, who cares! You're almost done! Blah. Is it Saturday yet?

Aunt flow showed up today. In the MIDDLE of my dog walking schedule. 5 dogs walked.. 8 more to go. Each needed 20 minutes plus walking to/from each home.

The day was long. Thank goodness I had an emergency tampon in my backpack.
but still, no drugs..so much walking.

WHY UTERUS WHY?!?!

Wow, Lyzelle! Do you bruise easily? I do... I bruise after they take blood even. =P I hope it's not too painful for long... I admit to not having done much research on it so I have no idea if it's typically sore or not. =<

I was trying to go Gangnam Style and Payton bit me on the butt. I have no idea if he was just that offended by my dancing or not LOL. Guess we need to work on some more stay work. Normally I can put him in a stay and dance, but not like THAT I guess hahahaha.
New training goal: go Gangnam Style with the dogs in a sit-stay behind me...

I am physically, mentally, and emotionally EXHAUSTED. I want everything to stop - or at least pause. Just freeze, stop, come to a halt - I need to catch my breath. Time just can't stay still...
