Ouch! This is random, but in the past (before the celiac diagnosis) I had all the symptoms of Crohn's. Plain M&Ms and bananas were usually a safe bet. The combo of the candy coating stuff and fibery sugary bananas really helped.

Hope you can eat soon. That's just miserable. :(
I'm allergic to bananas, but I might try something similar and see if it works out for me. It is miserable.

I sometimes wonder if it's actually Celiac's and not Crohn's. But my grandmother was diagnosed definitively with Crohn's, and it has been shown to run in our family, so that's just been the general assumption.

Sorry, Skittle! I hope he stops being an asshat. Everyone has their days. Jin had one just the other day.

I can't do retail... I don't play well with others... Heck thr only friends I have aside from my fiancée & my online friends on forums like this one & FB are my dogs lol... Sad I know but I have never been a social person.

My vent is that I want another dog... A puppy (glutton for torture i know) from a breeder: at this moment my living situation & such (no job = oodles of time) but where I am is not perminant & no job Also means no $ ... It sucks... When I have the $ I don't have thr time & when I have the time I don't have the $ :(

Ok... Self pity fest over lol

(hugs to Jessie) Hope everyone is doing ok and will be ok as well.

Why do people turn a blind eye when actual help is needed yet stick their nose into the most trivial of things that really don't concern them??

My friend/old boyfriend kindly asked me out for a Starbucks date today - once I walked in the place he called me what he usually does "Hey Chinky girl" - I replied as I usually do with "Yo Whitey". It's nothing racist or discriminatory (at least to us) - the story behind it was that I was his first Asian crush/girlfriend and he was my first Caucasian boyfriend - so we just somehow took to calling each other as such lol. He's one of the most stable, supportive, kind, and understanding people I know and friends I have; we see each other perhaps once a year if even that...but we get each other very well and things between us are very good. Maybe it's because we see each other so little that our friendship has been kept in such good shape lol

A woman looks at us in disgust and says something about inciting hatred. We just walk off to a table and go about our day.

It's worth being tested for. Celiac is genetic, and can mimic a lot of other gastric problems. We're pretty sure it came from my mom's side because Great-grandpa died of colitis in his 30s, one of his sons died of it when he was 10, and one of his daughters had to have an colostomy. They tried to give me a colostomy when I was a teen but I held out and finally got a correct diagnosis. It could be that it just manifests as Crohn's in your family.

I have a overwhelming urge to die/suicide myself now...it's always sort of hovered above me but it's just come down like a ton of bricks right now....
Sent you a pm Stephy.

Also, the world needs more of your writing. Still waiting on the rest of your Russian Man stories. :)

Replied you already Romy :)

Thanks alot Renee & Romy. It's just very, very, very difficult right now...it has been for some time actually. Life is very tiresome...

On a (much) lighter note, A very random, childish vent now...

Why aren't I a hybrid of Blade Runner's Pris, Baroness Marie-Helene de Rothschild, an ancient Hungarian Countess, a young Anjelica Huston, and a adorable K-pop star???

Gavroche came up with bloody urine this morning. After I just told the vet he was doing great urine-wise at his annual exam on Friday, and she said his bladder felt great. :wall:

Looks like BOTH dogs get to go BACK to the vet tomorrow morning.

HOLY F^CKING SH!T! Can things get any d@mn worse this year???

Dad called the four of us to the kitchen today with a grim look on his face - loan troubles - we may have to face foreclosure by Oct 31. I had no idea things were THAT bad and at that point.

My friend dies and now I may end up homeless - ha, ha, ha. Am I in Dante's f&cking inferno or something?! Geez I need a break.

I completely messed up at a team show jumping event this afternoon. If I had been going badly I would have been fine but the fact that I was doing nearly the best in our team is eating at me. We might have actually got placed if it weren't for me. In the jump off I was going to fast, made 2 fantastic tight turns (and I'm modest as well lol) and then pushed so hard that we went over the wrong fence because Amber was going so fast and I wasn't paying enough attention I jumped the wrong fence and got eliminated. It's so irritating.

However I was one if the lucky ones. One person got thrown into a wall and broke their leg in 2 places, another person fell through a jump and then their horse stood on their chest and several others fell. Lucky everyone from our team emerged unscathed.
