I don't think dogs are equal to kids. I also would do anything in the world in my power to protect my nieces.

What does that have to do with anything? You can believe kids are more important than dogs and still understand this:

It's a dog. It's an animal. Push an animal enough and they will defend themselves. A defensive bite is very different from an aggressive bite. Bites are not all equal. The idea that you must put down any dog that bites is asinine.

No kidding. I'd be happy to punt a kid or two for pulling tails and teasing. Or their parents, for allowing them to be such obvious brats to people and animals. But generally I have to resort to plain, "WTF is WRONG with you? GTFO of our space!"

Thus why I don't take Zander to Petco or anything. Stupid people and their stupid kids.

Since we are all free to our opinions and everything: Rubygirl, you're an idiot. You completely missed the point of everything anyone was trying to say to you. You're wrong in your interpretation of that dogs behavior, the end. There is no opinion on that. So sad.

I searched for threads with over 100 replies with the word "troll" in the content. Someone mentioned she had a couple of different names on the Pitbull forums, so I assumed she did the same thing on here. Smkie's thread about the abused dog was about the 10th one down (and the first one having to do with a similar subject) so I clicked it. Then it all came together :p

Yep that is why my dog who is very well trained (movies, rally titles, agility titles, etc) is soooo badly behaved because that is totally what I did.
