One of my favorite companies had a big online sale last month- their stuff only goes on sale 2 times a year. Dresses that were normally $200 were marked under $100, and $60-100 shirts were marked from $20-30.

Anyway, they weren't prepared for such a huge amount of shoppers, and their site kept crashing. It took them forever to process orders. One of the shirts I ordered (for $24) ended up being cancelled, so I was pretty bummed because I really wanted it.

Everyone who had an order cancelled received a $100 gift card code- I couldn't believe it. I mean, how awesome is that?! Everyone who shopped in the sale received a 20% off promo code as well... they definitely fixed any animosity anyone would've had over their sale not going smoothly.

So... have you experienced any awesome customer service lately?

Love love love love USAA. I had our renter insurance through them, and we wanted to use them for our home owners insurance but they were just way too expensive (an extra $200/6 months) over the other guys, so we didn't. I totally had forgotten to cancel the renter's policy though, and didn't realize until it charged me for the renewal 6 months later.

I called them up to cancel it, and explained the situation, and they refunded everything for the prior 6 months that we hadn't been living in the house. Pretty darn awesome.

Oh oh oh, and on Amazon recently, I ordered a day planner for the 12-13 school year. I bought one that said it was for the 2012 school year, not realizing it meant September 2011-September 2012. Not terribly helpful.

I went online to amazon to return it, and they told me just to keep it, they'd refund my money and not require me to ship it back, since I'd been "such a loyal customer" (I do buy a ton of stuff from them). Pretty cool!

I actually quit using Amazon because their customer service has been lacking a lot lately. Glad to hear it's not everyone though.

I've always had wonderful customer service with Tmobile. Free early upgrades and I was at the point where I had unlimited everything and was only paying 40ish dollars a month. When I lost my job they even kept my phone on with three months of unpaid bills until I could find a job and then I was able to pay it off in payments.

I <3 State Farm - they were amazing throughout the whole claims process with my vehicle that got creamed in a hit and run, and when they ended up totaling it, they gave us a more than fair settlement price. Makes all the years of premiums so worth it to not have to fight with insurance at every step like I hear so many people complain about!

I always have the best experience with Guess employees! I've ended up having to order so many items before (don't have my size/color in stock for example) and they are always pleasant and more than happy to look up who has an item and either call that store to hold it or get it shipped to their location. Last Christmas my mom bought me two dresses as gifts - the one dress I had tried on a couple of months prior and by the time she went back, there were none around in the company in my size. They ended up pulling one of 3 in Canada from a store in Quebec for her! Outstanding, I find it very rare for a clothing store in a mall to do customer orders that aren't even prepaid/final sale and they do them all the time and always with a great attitude.

When I injured my knee, my favorite Guess work pants had to be cut off by paramedics. They were about a year old so when I went to replace them there weren't very many around in the company. We had them shipped to our "regular" store and even though they usually only hold for 24 or 48 hours (can't remember) the girl who ordered them held them for over a week for us as they were having a big sale and they'd be discounted if we got them during the sale. She actually offered this - I had no idea of the upcoming sale. It was so nice!

Today I order a caramel macchiatio and the woman making it asked if I wanted double whipped cream for free since the can was almost empty. I said yes (of course) and she handed me a towering mass of sweetness and said "Have a nice day!" as if there was any chance that a day filled with double whipped cream could be less than amazing.

I bought a box of fiber one bars and when I opened the box the granola bars were all mis shapen and the wrappers were all torn open and destroyed. I emailed General Mills about it and they responded very quickly and were very apologetic. They sent me out a bunch of coupons for a free box and high dollar values off their other products as well. coupons always make me happy lol.

Customer service at Smartpak is ohmygoodnesstotallyfabulous! I have NEVER had such outstanding personal customer service before from a company!

I must say, that if you need to purchase supplements or goodies for your horse or dog, they are a company to go to. I LOVE THEM!

All of my boys had to use Pampers Sensitive wipes at all times or their little tushies got raw (and I mean bloody raw). I used the Pampers Sensitive Thick care often, but one time I bought a box and it destroyed Carson and Cooper's bottoms. They were red, swollen, and slightly bloody, which is typical for what happens when I'd tried using other brands of wipes. I sent Pampers customer service an email with the product number and all that, and I explained the issue. All I was really looking for was to see if they had changed something within their wipes that could've caused the reaction. I needed to know so I could go back to the basic Pampers Sensitive wipes. In their reply email, they stated that they did NOT changed anything in their wipes, but of course to go back to the original ones and monitor the boys. Just days later, I got coupons for 2 free large boxes of wipes (760 count or something), 2 more $5 off coupons for wipes, 2 coupons for 2 free boxes of diapers, and 2 more $5 off coupons for diapers. I was one happy momma!

I special ordered some floor tile from Lowe's last August. By the time we got around to installing it (almost a year later) we realized that it wasn't going to work in our kitchen. I went to the store thinking there was no way they would take it back, but I had to ask. They took it back no questions asked, including the tiles we had cut and/or broken trying to work with the tile. I was thrilled!

Every single customer service issue with REI is outstanding.

Return these shoes that I hiked 1000's of miles in and bought 7 years ago, with the flaps hanging half off, and no shoelaces?

Sure! Here's a full refund! Have a nice day k thx bai!

(Well, I had a friend who did just that. But I've always been able to return anything that I was less than 100% satisfied with for a full refund (not store credit, actual cash back) without being hassled and within a day, even if I used it several times and it was slightly damaged/worn.)

In other words, this is why I buy everything from REI even if I have to pay $50 more over online.

I ordered a copy of Susan Garrett's "Ruff Love" from Clean Run last year. When I went out to get the mail all that I found was the empty, ripped open envelope and the receipt, someone stole it from my mailbox! I emailed Clean Run to let them know what happened and to order a new copy, but they went ahead an just mailed me a free copy anyways. Clean Run rocks.
