Golden Retrievers.

But seriously...

Get me a dog JUST LIKE THIS ... and I'd be freakin' tempted.

or this.

I'll always have a soft spot for Goldens, as my very first dog Daisy was one. But I thought I was over them. Maybe not. lol.

Every time I see a young, crazy Golden that's all over the place I'm pretty sure that I'm over them. And then every time I see a sweet senior Golden...I want one again.

My cousins had a Golden when I was growing up, and that dog was awesome - she was the reason that I will adopt a senior Golden someday.

And not the least bit ashamed :lol-sign:

Though, you saved me the trouble since I was coming on here and say I wanted this Golden :p I never had Golden want until this dog.
First Golden Retriever that came to my mind. True story.

And let's face it, it was either going to be me stalking your Photostream, or posting the following

"Yes, I have Golden want, too. Especially that one Golden Retriever that Linds met at the dog park that one time - you know, the dog that looked stunning and athletic and everything a sporting dog should be. I can't remember the dog's name, but it was a really good looking dog. Really. The dog looked like a Golden Retriever and everything!

Oh, and I think the owner had an Aussie, too. Yeah."

You pick :p

I really want a golden someday. When I was working at the grooming shop, despite the annoying amount of brushing and stuff, I always loved my golden clients. I had one when I was a baby, she died when I was about 6 or 7, I don't really remember her that well, just barely. But, I do know that they are great dogs and I really do want one someday.

I like those auburny/reddish ones. I might have one someday *shrugs* They aren't my preferred giant size and I don't know about their protective abilities. But they are nice looking and have very pleasant personalities =)

After working at a pet hotel for years, I will never have any desire to get a Golden! I used to be obsessed with them as a little kid... but I feel like the Golden of those years is very different than the BYB mess of today. :/ It's sad how much working in the dog industry can RUIN breeds for you. But it can also make you love breeds you never thought you would.

He's lovely. I think Goldens are a wonderful breed. (when bred right) When I got my Lab, it was between a Lab and a Golden. I opted for the Lab, only because of the non-tangly fur...less grooming. Because I love both breeds. So, are you going to spring for a Golden?

The cutest elderly golden walks around my neighborhood with the biggest grin on his face. Do want.

I'm the same way with BCs. I've wanted one forever. I had one as a kid and we weren't the right home for a bc at the time so we rehomed him. I've always hated that because if I knew then what I know now, I could've been a good owner to him. He was my baby. But recently I've been "over" them for now, since I'm 99.9% sure that my next dog will be a Whippet. But every time I see pictures online or see pictures of Chewy (my bc) I just MELT. They are such cool dogs. So smart and intune with their owners. And beautiful. But I have to stick to my guns. Whippet next, bc someday. Lol! (I also am DROOLING over Yarrow the ANCD. Omg.)

Thought I was the only one who had serious golden wants from this dog. I keep going back and forth with this breed and it keeps going to "maybe someday."
