What are your favorite names of dogs on Chaz? The 'What not to name your dog" thread had me thinking of all the names I really liked right here on chaz.

I love Dance, I think it's such a pretty light name.
Webster just fits Webster and is awesome
Squash, well how can you have a dog named Squash and not smile all the time.
Classic, is just so classic. It's so nobel and elegant sounding
Bean, it makes me giggle
Quinn, I don't know why I like this name as much as I do but I really really do. Tipper, again don't know why I like this one as much as I do but I really really do
Backup, well it's just an awesome name.

There are a lot of names I really like here.

Traveler just totally works for him.
Jayne. I'm so happy there is a Jayne because I would love to name a dog Jayne but will never be able to do so.
Classic is perfect for him
Bazinga is great but it makes me mad because I wanted that name :p
Jackson is perfect for Jackson, as mentioned in the other thread
Summer is great for her too
Tempie. Always makes me smile for her lol
SQUASH!

Gosh there are so many more, I know I'm missing so many...

These threads are hard for me because there's always someone I forget, but here goes...

Cricket - such a cute name, and seems to fit really well
Mira - it's lovely without being pompous or highbrow, just like her
Backup - It never would have occurred to me that this COULD be a name, but I adore it
Cider - I like food names in general anyway, but it is just so creative for the color/breed
Bounce - This one just makes me smile
Bazinga and Didgie - just perfect... fun, unusual names for fun, unusual girls
Violet - I like girly names, what can I say?
Ivan - I like manly names, what can I say?

So difficult!

Snipe, Gusto, Meg, Goose come to mind immediately. And little Kat :), who will always be a Chazdog. Sawyer's another one, because it fits him so perfectly, as does Brutus. Buckshot. And Hank(y) because he got his name from Buckshot using him as a Hanky :rofl1: Strider fits so well too.

Orson :D

Bean is definitely pretty high on my list. Steve too, for that matter.

I always loved Riot the Terv's name, and I think we have another Riot now too (one of the BCs?)

I love the name Backup! But around here a dog with that name would be so confused, I don't know how many times a day I tell my dogs to back up lol

Yep Riot is one of the BCs ;) I named her after Joan Jett and the Runaways, (Brigadoon's Cherry Bomb) and I had originally wanted to call her Jett. It just didn't fit her, it felt awkward, so someone suggested Riot because in the Rock n Roll hall of fame, Riot Grrl is a term for a woman who made Rock n Roll history.

Didgeridoo is totally my favorite name. I love it.

Quinn - I love this name, it's so pretty and unique-sounding.
Classic - Because it fits him so well!
Kaylee - I LOVE Firefly (I'm not sure if this is where you got her name from or not.)
Jayne - Again, Firefly. I would hate this name for a female dog (Jane) but it's perfect for a male!
Cricket - I had a (not-so-fond-of) relative that had a cat named Cricket, so I doubt I would use it for any future dogs, but I do really, really like it.
Sawyer - I really like this name in general.
Xena - Very pretty and unique.

I forgot Who! I think that's a really neat name.

Kaylee - I LOVE Firefly (I'm not sure if this is where you got her name from or not.)
I don't know if you're talking about Sizzle's Kaylee or mine but either way they're both named after Firefly Kaylee. Cause Firefly is the best.

Didgeridoo is totally my favorite name. I love it.
I am SO happy I named Didgie this. I call her every single incarnation of that name. Didgeridoo, Didgeri, Ridgy Didgie Doo, Doo, Roo and I can say "Didgeridoo, where are you?"
