First time I've ever found myself thinking "Wow, Walt is a dumbass".

Jesse is... ugh, though. I used to love him, now I think the character's just kind of weird. I don't like Andrea, though, and that's where his entire character direction is pointing.

I also hate Skyler so much that it's making the show difficult to watch at times. Seriously, I have never hated a character on a show so much before.

That's so funny cause I HATE Walt with the fire of a thousand suns. I have hated him since the Gayle incident and the Jane incident. I LOVE Jessie. I have loved him ever since the episode where he didn't squish the beetle. I love how he says "yo" all the time and adds a random "...bitch!" to the end of his sentence when he wants to be intimidating. I just love him Syklar is annoying and I can't figure out why she has a 4 year old boy's name. I have been so upset by this ending and the one after the railroad heist.

I don't think it's unusual to hate the show after episode one. I did. I thought it was so depressing and had no interest. I happened to be in the room when my husband watched the first 3 and was hooked after that but it took 3 before I didn't hate it.

Skylar has annoyed me GREATLY this season too. It's like... one minute you're in, the next you're out? Uh, obviously you knew your hubby wasn't out planting flowers and roses, and I'm sure she had to have known some bad shady stuff was going down, and she willingly "signed" up for it. But then again, I understand because when you actually definitely know your husband is a mass murderer and all... I guess that would hit you hard. And if you knew people were IN your house looking to kill him. I don't blame her for being worried about the kids safety.

In one way, I really really want Hank to find out. like soon. He's soooo close. But in another, I don't, because that probably means the end of the show. Boooo.

I'm so bummed they are doing only 8 eps this summer and then we have to wait until next next summer to see the last 8.

I had to avoid this thread all day yesterday! I just watched episode 7 last night (we get it on Amazon video) so I didn't want any spoilers!

I've had a strong dislike for Walt for a while now... and it's just getting worse and worse with every episode! I really liked Mike and I was hoping we'd see him again next season I just read an interview with him from GQ and he made it sound like his character wasn't being killed off, so I just assumed he wouldn't be!

Walt just has nothing left... his wife hates him (and I HATE her lol), his kids are gone, he has no friends, no life except for cooking. All he cares about is making the best product and being on top, and he doesn't care about who he has to screw over to do it.

This season has been SO bleak (and INTENSE!) so far. The train heist episode was so much fun, until the ending.

I can't believe we have to wait an entire YEAR to see the final 8 episodes- I'm so bummed about that!

So, I'm coming into this thread kind of late. I was one of the people who had no interest in watching this AT ALL, and got dragged in by the husband. I used to love Walt, hate Hank (reminds me of my father with his attitude), and sometimes like, sometimes dislike, sometimes hate Skylar, and LOVE LOVE LOVE Jesse for some unknown reason. And now, I'm like, angry at Jesse, pissed at Walt for turning into a D-Bag, sort of not as much hating Skylar, and rooting for Hank.

Oi. This show. Still not as suspenseful or as intriguing as Prison Break, but definitely up there. I love how it pretty much spells it out to you how to kill and dispose of a person and not get caught.

You're supposed to hate Walt at this point. He started out as a guy just trying to do what he could to keep his family together and now he's only invested in himself. His wife doesn't love him and his kids are not living with him. Now it's changed from doing what he could to save his family to "now I have nothing left except this."

But I loved Mike so.

Honestly I don't hate Walt, I feel bad for him. I firmly believe that Skyler is the reason Walt has nothing left, and it makes me hate her even more. She's the reason the kids are gone. Walter Jr. would happily be in their lives if he could, but she pushes him away from the family which absolutely disgusts me. Had Skyler not been such a horrid hateful twat and torn up the family, Walt probably would've gotten out with Mike and Jesse.

I still love Jesse, I just don't fully understand the dramatic character change this season. Honestly, he's been one of my favorites since the beginning of the show, I'm just annoyed he's turning into kind of a preachy father figure type so quickly.

The season's been bleak but what direction could you expect the show to go in? lol

^ I do kind of agree. I hate Walt but I still root for him. I guess I shouldn't say I HATE him... I do understand his line of thinking sometimes. I also am so annoyed by Skylar.

This season has definitely been bleak, but I feel like they had to have a cool down from season 4 which was just insane crazy. Honestly the last 3-4 eps gave me mild heart attacks, LOL... "Crawl Space" just... *dies*

And I think it's realistic to know that they had to re-build and start from scratch again. So of course it's not going to be action-packed. I think the last 8 will pick up a lot, and these were just starting the plot for us a bit...

I do think Jesse has had a huge heart from the beginning so what they've been thru in more recent times has just made him realize what he's doing and how his actions are affecting other people. But then I do sometimes forget it's only supposed to have been a YEAR since this all started... even tho its been thru the course of 4 years in our time.

I'M SO EXCITED YET SO SAD for tonight....

I don't want it to end! *sigh* Cannot wait until NEXT year....

Wow...just noticed this thread, I just started watching this on Netflix. Seems everything I've started watching on there is being cancelled now (Weeds too, but it's time for that one to go). Pretty good show.

Season 3 Episode 7...alright, the silent mexican twins are kind of skeeving me out..LOL. And I'm really hating Walt. I can't stand him, he's such a douche. I'm definitely a Jesse fan.
