A spin off on the other thread....

Apart from other dogs in the household and pets - who are your dog's bwestest fwends ever?

Albert, Jacob, Zeus, and Ruby are her regular playmates and partners in crime - the first two are a dane/lab mix and a American Bulldog, the latter two are a Great Pyr with a very similar temperament to Katalin's own and a extremely athletic Vizsla.

She's on the edge with a local CAS whom I suspect is named Clint (though he is completely enchanted with her), a Pyr/Maremma cross named Falcor that is somewhat suspicious of her curiousity and playfulness, Yuki a shiba inu, and a 10 year old golden therapy dog that she has helped herself to humping on more than a few occasions - being the therapy dog that he is, he has more than obliged her....

Juno thinks her best friend is my friend's cocker spaniel. The reality of it is, they have never actually played together and he HATES her lol. Other than Lucy, he was the first dog I introduced her to when she was a puppy, and we take them places together all the time so he's like a big brother to her, and she thinks he's the coolest thing ever. And even though she's pretty disgusted by dogs nowadays, she still gets sooooo freaking excited to see him.

Oh, my brother's 2 boxers make her absolutely lose her mind, too. She becomes like a 4 month old puppy again that is socially awkward, always pestering and can't calm down, and forgets that she still has to listen to me.

Liberty has a little Cocker Spaniel pal that he loves to run with, although Smoky is a little less athletic than Liberty. He may be eleven but he'll still outplay just about anybody his size (much less a chubby little Spaniel!). He also adores our neighbor's dog, who is a larger Chow-type dog (Chester) and Comet, who is the obnoxious little "Schnoodle" that lives down the road from us.

Bailey is a little too much for most dogs. He is rough and although he doesn't tend to bite he does treat playing a little like an MMA fight.

Mammoth is not really suited for making friends (being blind and arthritic and a million years old). But he does get along passably with Bailey (less so with Liberty but only because Liberty doesn't like being stepped on!)

Izzie idolizes her Border Collie friend Gyp, if Gyp does something Izzie thinks it's a-okay to do. She also likes Kaleb the FCR, they're such a weird pair but they totally work together and are adorable.

Both of those dogs belong to my instructor.

Tango has Izzy of course, he loves her and she loves him. We often joke that Izzy is his girlfriend because he doesn't like strangers to pet her lol. Izzy and Tango both love Jade the cat. Way back when we lived next door to a Husky puppy, Izzy and Kota sort of grew up together and loved each other, I miss Kota!

Fleetwood's got his best friends who are all German Short hair pointers-- Buddy, Gabbi, and his girlfriend Hanna. He's got a different Hannah and a Dutchess, both mixed breeds, and his neighbor Crystal that he really likes. And Scout the French bulldog!

Meg's absolute best friend is Sadie. She belongs to a good friend of mine. When my friend decided she wanted a dog, we drove down to a shelter/rescue/hoarding situation/who knows what the heck it really was, with Meg in tow, and used Meg to help pick the puppy. They've remained good friends since, and if I ask Meg if she wants to go see Sadie, she runs to the door wagging away!

Gusto is friends with everyone he meets, and is the best ever at getting dogs who "never play!" to play with him. His corgi friend Kirby is probably one of his very favorites, though. They are in agility class together.

He also loves his Golden friend, Kippie.

Although his bestest friend ever is His Horse, Tristan

And of course, the best part of having a sibling is that you have a built-in friend, for when you feel like getting down and having a dance-off!

Keeva make lots of minions - I MEAN FRIENDS - at work.

But um, for sure she loves Olive the Vizsla:

Oliver the BC:

Right now I'm at my mom's and she's beating the crap out of Ollie (there's a name theme going on with her, LOL). They LOOOVE each other, they play so rough and crazy.

Macky... I AM her best friend, LOL. She likes Lindsey's gang pretty well, considering she's Macky.

Fozzie's BFF is my friends dorky Aussie, Panda. :) They are so funny together!

Then there's his two crayzay Border Collie girlfriends, Shiloh & Sadie. He tolerates so much abuse from BCs...

Gonzo LOVES any small dog. His favorite is my friend's wirehaired Doxie, Waldo. Gonz is the only dog in the world that Waldo will play with.

The love of his life is Giselle the Greyhound. Seriously, they're like a married couple! Yes Gonzo had a mohawk at this point - this picture is like 8 years old.

Girl let's get freaky!

Of course they'll always be each others best friend. *hugs*

There are two Chihuahua mixes that a man walks off leash in the neighborhood, they are named Spike and Peyton. Tucker LOVES them. When they are coming down the street I'll put him on his tie out and they come into the yard and play with him for a bit before the owner calls them to leave.

Then our neighbor has a pit bull/lab mix named Zelda that Tucker adores. Whenever we walk by her house Tucker starts crying because if she's outside he gets to say hi through the fence. On walks he always start play bowing. She has a little bit of interest in him but she really just wants to see me lol.

At the park he is madly in love with a pit bull named June Bug, but she really has no interest in him to eventually I have to take him away because I can see she is starting to get fed up with him. I feel bad because she loves some dogs there, but no love for Tucker.

There are other dogs at the park he sees regularly and likes, but none that he gets as excited about as those four.

Chloe, sadly, doesn't really have any friends...she has dogs she doesn't growl and be a bitch too right off of the bat, but that's about it. The neighbor's Texas Heeler, Bobbie, Chloe has known since she was a pup and when she would get loose and come into our yard Chloe liked to play with her.

She LOVED Armani, the Basset/Lab we fostered. And she enjoyed Kiba. She wants to be BFF with Cooper, but he's terrified of her. Everybody else she just either tolerates or actively tries to eat.

Mia hates everyone. :p She and my trainer's Welsh sheepdog seem to be barking buddies though. They seem to think there is a contest about who will be the loudest mouth.

My dogs had some friends back in Texas. Especially Lucky, my friend's farm collie/aussie type dog. He was so chill and gentle and protective of them. They would run circles around him when they hiked and then when he would lay down he'd be smothered in papillon kisses.

They also liked my neighbor's chihuahua and would play with him.

Oh their boyfriends...

Scout with my former foster Spaz (now Zack). She adored him. He really wanted to be Lily's protoge, but she wasn't a huge fan.

Lily chewing my paren't BC Will. He tolerates Scout, but he and Lily are really close. She taught him to play. :)

Spaz was a total dick to Will, lol.

Erm, here are Lily, Scout, Lynley, and Chicago. Very closely bonded pack. :)

Scout chewin' the boys

Lily and Lynley are a doggie married couple. No seriously, they are totally pair bonded.

My guys really love everyone LOL. Kimma especially sounds like Gusto in that she gets dogs who "never play" or "don't like other dogs" to play with her. Usually by putting her butt in their face LOL. Hey, whatever works :p

As far as BFFs go, they are ALL in love with T right now (which is great - no need to crate/rotate during his stay here), and they also love my best friend's Boxer, Dani. Dani's "sister," a little Shiba mix named Luna, is also fine by them.

Kimma's other two BFFs live in Texas. One is her "boyfriend" named Maui (an adorable Chi/Pom/Peke mix) and the other is her Finkie friend named Chaveleh.

And of course, they all love playing with each other whenever they can :)

LOL I feel like my dogs don't have many dog friends :p
