It's HOT here! The house is just as amazing as I remember - better even, because now it's spotless and ready for our stuff. We are waiting on our movers to bring it all so we are hobo-ing it on an air mattress for now. We got stuck in some horrendous construction for 1.5 hours on our way here, in the 90+ degree weather...after about 20 min my a/c in my car was warm. The dogs were hot and miserable and bored and I was too. We get up to the "one lane ahead" and the lane was not even closed. Ugh. We stopped for the dogs to stretch, potty, and for us to get some food.

Pan and Kastle met in a dark parking lot our first night (Red Roof Inn). Pan growled at Kastle and postured, Kastle groveled and licked his buddy's face. That was pretty much the end of any hostilities. We are still being careful and primarily Pan is playing with the girls but he is doing fine with the little red boys loose and with Kastle (and him) on leash. We're just going to keep it low pressure/stress and super positive and try to set everyone up, consistently, for success. So far so good.

Anyway, Jason's been working since we got in so I've had loads of time to spend with the dogs and take pictures. Lots and lots of pictures (so many, I don't know which to post!). TN is so incredibly beautiful.

Our new house (the full set is HERE for anyone interested):

I've spent a lot of time out in the backyard with the dogs. Poppy and Limit have done a fairly thorough job at testing the boundaries for escape and everyone has enjoyed the yard immensely!

Pan follows the Corgis around like it's his job...

Just Nanner

See, Eden's a nutter with everyone

Kastle is very tolerant and tugs gently with her - you can tell he's checking to see if I'm watching LOL

She's been especially full of herself since we moved, even taking the toys for herself (she's not usually possessive or a toy dog):

She's lucky that Kastle *is* so nice, because he loooovvveeeesss his jolly ball:

Poppy spends most of the time buried in the treeline looking for an escape route - but she likes the new yard too!

The little red boys are blissfully happy here and it's particularly noticeable in Finny's behavior.

Neither of them are natural retrievers so I've been practicing with them.

Hmmm, I suppose I should post at least one photo where Limit doesn't look certifiably insane...

Finny is really gorgeous.

Simply <3

I think he's beautiful when he gaits...(biased, I know)

If that was not enough photos, there are more from the first day HERE and from the second day HERE .

I missed something! Who's Pan??

I love all of your dogs for srs. If I didn't think Knox would be a complete and utter JERK to all of your boys, I'd drive up there. I might just have to do that with Indy and Enzo anyway, just so you can take pictures of them rofl, because I love your photography.

I want to bury my face and hands in Kastle's fur! If we weren't on opposite ends of the country I'd say we needed to get him and Scout together to play, lol.

Pan looks like a lovely boy!

Love the other herders too (especially the BC!), I just get sidetracked by the sabely goodness. :p

Awesome! Where did you wind up?
Knoxville. We will be traveling to Nashville to train for IPO weekly after Nationals though.

Pan is our best friend, Lies' dog. Her two males were not getting along any longer so we now have Pan.

I love, love to take other people's dogs photos. Really. My Flickr has gobs of sets of other dogs not my own. They are just so fun and frequently do/make faces mine don't...although with Limit now, he does make a LOT of faces! ;)

Would we survive? :rofl1:

We had Kastle in our engagement photos and for the "ring shot" I had her take a picture of my hand buried in his fur - I thought it was creative ;)

Pan is a lovely boy, he's super, super sweet and unassuming.

Finn is one of the most gorgeous dogs I have ever seen. He's not even mine LOL (he's Jason's), but he is just stunning. That red is the most true red I've seen in BC's and his coat is so soft and flowy. But, the sabley goodness is where my heart lies :D

So, you're in Knoxville! I'm 40 minutes from there and in town quite often, for one thing, that's where the writers' group is and I'm also a member of the Knoxville Writers' Guild :)

Yell if you want to get together sometime!
